It seems that an emergency meeting of NATO generals has been called at the same time news of NATO boots on the ground in Ukraine is being proffered after the time that Russia launched a nuclear-armed space weapon that will take out satellites was launched. Putin stated that if Article Five is invoked you won't have time to blink. This launch and the subsequent orbit have to be a major escalation , if the satellite carrying the weapon is attacked, it would no doubt be triggered.I would think that the blast would most likely be in near-Earth orbit and cause an EMP over the unfortunate country it was passing over when it went off.I would imagine that this state of affairs will not be allowed to continue for much longer that's why an emergency meeting has been called.

I'll reiterate..

They didn't get their timely infusion of "aid" money, and this is the escalation to assure going forward that there will be no argument(s).

Honestly, either way, they are trying to actually go to war with Russia! No talks, no diplomacy. Nope, just a steady march towards utter destruction. The sheer EVIL we live under is staggering.

Again, FML.

I truly hope NATO boots aren't on the ground in a meaningful way to trigger article 5. There will be no winners except those that have underground bunkers to escape a nuclear catastrophe.

And there wouldn't be very much time to process after the first strike. I live in a major population center in Canada with a military base on the outskirts so I assume we'd be on the list.

Wont happen. No value in "nuking" somewhere you want to take over. Plus, 1940s nukes are relics.

That the insanity.. as Russia has no other way of defending itself, even if they pulled out of Ukraine they would still be surrounded by these idiots who seem to think Russia is a threat. Russia hasn't got the population to invade another country it looks like they are being forced into a confrontation which they do not want. The mind of a person who is safe from the consequences is different from the rest depopulation job done.?

Ummm...or the US...

It's a zero sum game...

"A strange game...the only winning move is...not to play"...

Yet...here we have the Europeans stating that they're planning to put NATO boots on the ground...in Ukraine...

In open aggression against the Russian state...

And speak out of the other side of their collective faces...that it's Russia...Russia...Russia...dragging us into world war three...

And the greater unwashed bleats...Ohhh...Raaah...as they're duped once again into lining the pockets of the death merchants...and send their sons and daughters...mothers and fathers...into another conflagration...

And the body bags remain the same...

Ummm...perhaps the scenario is to irradiate the Seine...and not the Dnieper...?

After all...once NATO openly engages with Russia...the entire Borg collective is fair game...

Then there is an interesting and not exactly without merit possibility that Puddin' was warning China more so than the West. He knows he can't win on either of his land approaches. He can see it is gameover and that makes him a dangerous world threat. He wants appeasement as his only way out.

got any real sources stating NATO has sufficient force in Ukraine other than personal training their troops from countries that are in NATO on how to use their donated / aid weapons.

, even if they pulled out of Ukraine they would still be surrounded by these idiots who seem to think Russia is a threat.

no they wouldn't be surrounded, their northern, western, and southern boarders have no NATO countries.

Russia hasn't got the population to invade another country it looks like they are being forced into a confrontation which they do not want.

that doesn't seem to have stopped them in the recent past, let's see, Chechnya twice, Georgia, Ukraine in 2014, 2022, syria, russia still has troops fighting there, they also have troops and pmc's in Africa.

for a country that doesn't have the population to defend it's self they sure get around a lot for and influencing other countries.

Has anybody done their due diligence into this claim?

Firstly, The "wont have time to blink" speech was recorded in Moscow on February 7, 2022, as part of a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, held just over two weeks before Russia invaded Ukraine.

Secondly, there are currently no nuclear weapons in space. U.S. intelligence says that Russia may be planning on launching such a weapon.

If there were weapons in space, you'd be hearing in the news of a broken Outer Space Treaty that was signed in 1967.

.....even if they pulled out of Ukraine they would still be surrounded by these idiots who seem to think Russia is a threat

The thing is though, if Russia hadn't invaded Ukraine in the first place nobody would have thought they were a threat.
Russia isn't surrounded, certainly not by NATO.

However, the vast majority of those ex-Warsaw Pact countries that share a border with Russia or are very close to it have reason to distrust Russia and have relatively recent experiences of Russian expansionism and control.

....it looks like they are being forced into a confrontation which they do not want.

If they hadn't invaded Ukraine there would be no confrontation.
If they call an immediate ceasefire and return to the pre-invasion borders there would be no confrontation.
It really is pretty #ing simple.

You are correct, however, that treaty was signed some 0 years ago after both US and Russia tested 'nukes' in space in the early '60's. There's been a lot of water under the bridge as they say since then.
Then we have this

Russia denied U.S. claims that it was developing a space-based anti-satellite nuclear weapon, with President Vladimir Putin saying Tuesday that the Kremlin was “categorically against” the deployment of nuclear weapons in space, and accusing the White House of scaring lawmakers into passing a new aid package for Ukraine.

It comes after a Reuters report emerged earlier Tuesday, citing one source, that said the U.S. believes Moscow is developing a space nuke whose detonation could knock out the satellites underpinning critical U.S. infrastructure, including military communications and mobile phone services. CNBC could not independently verify the report.

Link to full and interesting article
From the full article we are reminded that Musk sent his Starlink to help the Ukranians to locate Russian 'strongholds'/movements etc as Ukraine doesn't have such technology. If Musk/CIA/MIC hadn't done this, then western allies say Putin certainly had an upperhand and would have indeed been succesful in a matter of months.
Who to believe hey?

watched that with my grandson this past weekend. Still just as cool, and even brought in the current events aspect with AI. Joshua had to learn not to war.
