Maybe, or we could just call it what it really is......helping people less fortunate than we are, and striving for a world where equality among all reigns true.

Many people on the right, and on this site, scream about Socialism, Marxism, Communism, Stalinism, etc. but fail to recognize that capitalism does not solve problems like homelessness, unemployment, the need for welfare, etc.

I wish, with all my heart, that folks would work on solutions in the middle that would address these issues, rather than pulling both political sides further and further apart.

If you don't want me to label certain Republicans as fascists, then maybe they should stop acting like fascists. As well, to be perfectly clear, it's not ALL Republicans, it's the MAGA extremists that cause this country to be pulled further and further apart. There are many good Republicans who were in the middle who could actually get things done. Liz Cheney comes to mind as a great Republican I would have supported in a heartbeat. Definitely no facism out of her. But the MAGA extremists ran her out of town, thus showing that that faction of the government has ZERO interest in working with the other side to g et things done. Only their way or the highway. Nothing will get done like that and we'll get stuck with a stalemate government forever.

McDonald's employee's do not try to fix the equipment when it is broken, they have to contact an approved service provider. Liz Cheney is a rhino she may have an R next turn name but she is not a republican, you like her because she is more like you. The people in power are creating the animosity between the 2 political ideologies that currently govern this country and it takes 2 to tango. How far are you willing to go to push your agenda? How far do you think the other side is ready to go to push theirs? The intolerance seems be a problem on both sides and neither side makes any real attempts to work together.
