FBI probes misconduct allegations against Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard

There is new information indicating the FBI has launched an investigation into controversial Dolton Mayor and Thornton Township Supervisor Tiffany Henyard.

FOX 32 has been reporting for nearly two years on allegations of corruption surrounding Henyard in her capacity as mayor and supervisor. Now, we've learned from multiple sources that federal agents are interviewing witnesses as part of a possible investigation that may — or may not — result in charges.

Lawrence Gardner owns a U-Haul rental and trucking business in south suburban Dolton and says he went to the FBI several months ago, frustrated that the Village of Dolton would not renew his business license.

Gardner said the FBI agents took his allegations seriously: "Yes. Very serious. Very."

There is more controversy in south suburban Dolton.

On Tuesday, police shut down two popular bars, and one trustee says it's because they're not supporting Dolton's Mayor, Tiffany Henyard.

Is it a coincidence? Or retaliation? Both the Dolton bars that were raided and shut down last night FOX 32 visited the day before as part of our ongoing investigation into allegations of political corruption in the south suburb.

"They just rushed in here. Put police at the front door like they were doing a raid on a drug house or something," said Sevone Garfield, security director of Pablo's Cafe and Bar.

A team of Dolton officers, headed by Deputy Police Chief Lewis Lacey, raided and shut down Pablo's Bar and Café and Rinky's Bar and Café, both located on Sibley about a block apart.

The Illinois Attorney General's Office has ordered a charity run by Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard to stop soliciting donations.

The charity, called "Tiffany Henyard Cares," failed to register with the Attorney General's Office or disclose how much money it raised and how the money is being spent.

FOX 32 first raised questions about Henyard's charity last year. Our investigation found she was using public employees and taxpayer dollars to support the charity, including a $10,000 donation from Thornton Township, where she is supervisor.

The AG's office says it is evaluating further action against the charity to protect donors and enforce state laws about charitable giving.

Tiffany Henyard is the dumber version of Fani Willis and the more arrogant version of Letitia James.

She's on Chicago Fox32 news frequently. ABC/CBS/NBC/WGN news outlets try their best to ignore this over-the-top stupid Democrat.

I think she have delirious of grandeur and wants to eat as much news time as possible, I guess that is the only way she can get as close to fame like a super start.

It's kind of scary to see this level of human depravity overtaking certain people. The same people always railing against conservatives for destroying freedom and decency, and then they show the world it was themselves all along planning to do that while enriching themselves. Spending their own cities and municipalities treasury money on themselves.

And not stopping just at that, but now demanding common citizens contribute to their lavish lifestyle or face police raids and business closures.

New levels of human depravity like it's a contest to score the most points from the devil. No worry at all about the consequences.
