Michiel McCarty, chairman and CEO at the investment bank M.M. Dillon & Co., testified Wednesday to his “lost interest calculations” for banks that handed out loans to the Trump Organization. His calculations determined that across four Trump Organization assets, banks lost out on just over $168 million in interest. The assets — 40 Wall Street, Trump’s Chicago hotel, the Old Post Office-turned-hotel and Trump’s golf course in Doral, Fla. — each lost banks tens of millions of dollars in interest across nearly a decade, according to McCarty’s assessment.

With what the NY AG just did, she can ask a judge to enter a settlement with no trial for anyone she chooses. Anyone. But it also empowers others.

I have worked in and around the corporate world my whole life and I have never seen a company use a higher value for something when they have a lower value at hand. No company ever pays more for something when they don't have to and no one else is. And if you think Trump is sitting around doing his own finances your delusional. If you cant see that this is 100% politically motivated and that one political opponent in our country is targeting another then god help us all. We look like a 3rd world country right now. We are a joke to the rest of the world for letting this kind of thing continue.

One of the shark tank guys from Canada just pulled out of opening a major data center in NY and power operation near Niagara over this ruling and is going all over to tell others to get out. Dude is extremely liberal too. Magically Gov Hochel dropped her speech about how this was only a single person getting punished and others didn't need to worry right after Shark Tank guy started his diatribes.

I am not a fan of Trump, didn't vote for him in 2016, but he seeing how all of this is going down, I might actually end up voting for him (yuck).

Because he and any investor know what happened is bull# Annee. The only people who say something bad happened are people not in the industry, the media or paid pundits. You also have a judge who was a cab driver, an AG who is part of the Working Families Party. Look up WFP. Extreme Left Wing that 'helps' Democratic candidates. They are using an obscure law to try to bankrupt and embarrass someone. They will go after his properties next.

If Donald Trump had brought in investors on a property, then defaulted and took their monies, they would have a case. We are protected by law to a fair trial and that did not happen here.
