I'm gonna shut my mouth.

Whatever I will say, will be ridiculed.

The very same thing they do with witnesses and/or victims.

A lesson for me to just let things go.

Preaching to the choir.

What is it they say about pride comes before a fall or something to that effect?

So why suggest such things if you are not going to substantiate the claims you make?

You're not witnesses or a victim.

But you are responsible for the things you say as are your required to back them up with evidence if required.

So don't try and play the poor me they are all picking on me card.

You're a big boy, use your big boy words, please, or not as the case may be.

Aye it's all good..........not so much for poor Mr Navalny all the same if you take my meaning.

Must have been hell on Earth for the poor sucker really, again RIP.

I agree.

This brave man went through absolute hell before dying...and all because he dared to stand against a corrupt dictator who adulterated the very concept of justice by weaponizing it against his political rival.

I'm not biting, as its sad, and the comparison part of an agenda, your agenda.

So back on topic.

Brave indeed.

I think after the first nerve agent attack, i would have taken the hint to be honest.

And stayed in Germany to fight the fight from afar as opposed to returning back home.

Props to the man really as he obviously believed in his convictions and was willing to die for them.

Like i said to carpy2 hopefully his obvious execution does not have the desired effect Putin thinks it will.

Don't you dare allow condemnation to silence you and make you a victim.

THAT is exactly what Putin has done to Navalny.

NEVER let the dictators and bullies win.
It only encourages them.

Putin deserves world condemnation for this murder...unfortunately, dictators don't care, as long as they keep getting away with it.

He will get the world's condemnation.

As to the ramifications, it's not like he has not gotten away with far worse.

At some point, he will cross the line and sow the seeds of his own demise.

But its when they take root that counts.

Hopefully, that's sooner rather than later, not that im holding my breath.

He was asking the people of Russia to put their lives at risk by standing up to Putin and the autocrats. He didn't think it right to ask them to do that while he himself lived comfortably in another country.

This is very sad news. He was a very brave man, a true patriot.

They could have killed him although the living conditions in Russian prisons are harsh enough to finish off even the most resilient people. And the prison he was put in was infamous for being the most severe and dismal one.

I doubt his death will cause any unrest in Russia. The dissenters are few and they are quickly eliminated. Protests are small and rare and end up brutally pacified. The whole society is regularly brainwashed with propaganda.

If there's any change in Russia, it will be for the worse. As brutal and unscrupulous as Putin is, after his death there can come a person who will be even more psychotic and unpredictable than him.

There is an enormous amount of hypocrisy present in this thread.

If Russia does it...it's bad.
If Ukraine does the same thing...*crickets*.

If Putin weaponizes his government against his greatest political rival...it's VERY bad.
If Biden weaponizes his government against his greatest political rival...*crickets*(or applause).

The denial runs deep here.

And he fine well knew what he was essentially going back to.

Again props to the fellow.

Hopefully, his obviously planned demise, makes him a martyr to his cause.

Putin will fall...all dictators eventually do.
Unfortunately, they usually take their country and it's people down with them.

Funny there was barely a peep from the pundits when American journalist Gonzalo Lira was slaughtered in an Ukrainian prison, after critizing their president.

There is not much difference between Putin and Zelenskyy.
They're both dictators weaponizing their governments against their political rivals.
