So you refuse a passport from a country of which you are a citizen simply because you are Scottish?

Nope, Scotland is part of the United Kingdom same as the rest of the member nations, pretty hard to travel abroad without such. Why would i refuse a passport? LoL

You don't consider Scotland part of Great Britain? Surprise)))

I did vote for independence, but will of the people and all that jazz.

We had our chance and seemingly chose to remain, hence Scotland is indeed part of the UK.

What is "surprising" is that you failed to comprehend that fact considering it's not exactly a secret.

Next.

Scotland good people. I have nothing against them. Except it’s politicians that are probably holding Rashida jock strap etc.

Sean Connery is a legend!

Hopefully one day Scotland will overall get the cojones and be able to break away and get its independence once and for all.

You do not want to comply with the law because you consider yourself a citizen of another state.

I understood you.

Just understand, as long as you deny Russia, fight against it and the choice of the Russian people, impose sanctions and so on, you will live worse and worse.

The war with Russia is making the British poorer. The UK economy is now officially in recession, contracting by 0.1% in the third quarter of last year and by 0.3% in the fourth quarter (link).

Suddenly it is very expensive to treat teeth not only in the USA, but also in the UK - which, by the way, can be understood at least from photographs of native British people:

A public dental clinic opened in Bristol On February 6. There was a huge queue from early morning just to register for an appointment. Realizing that they could not cope with the flow, the dentists called the police. In the middle of the day the recording had to be interrupted. Today The Daily Telegraph features a number of stories from this queue. One aunt admitted that her 6-year-old grandson had not yet been able to make an appointment with the dentist.

There’s one thing I don’t understand: haven’t the British invented electronic hospital registration yet?!

Not exactly a fan of the first minister myself considering the crap he's coming away with about there being no housing crisis, considering there are 150,000 people on the waiting list for a house.

Politics is broken in the UK Imhere in the same to similar fashion it is across the pond.

As to Sean Connery, legend indeed and by far the best Bond imho.

As to another chance at independence, well again if that ever happens its down to the will of the people.

Its not England, Scotland wished to get away from, but Westminster rule from afar.

And I'm led to believe a lot of English people feel the same way or along similar lines.

Anyhoo nice to see us in somewhat of agreement for once.

And that is what we call putting words in other people's mouths.

If i fail to comply with a law its because i choose not to or are simply unafraid of the consequences.

Take TV licenses for instance.

Or Police trying to stop you from drinking a bottle of wine whilst picnicking in the park or attending outdoor concerts.

I'm not following those laws simple as that, and if TPTB don't like it they can fine me, but thats about it.

I understood you.

Computer says "No" methinks.

Is that projection i see RT, i think it is.

Aye, nothing to do with Brexit or the austerity and pandemic....Russia done it.

We have a national health service that pays for dental treatment to those that cant afford to do so privately.

You are not far wrong all the same dental treatment can be expensive, no two ways about it.

My kids and both myself and Mrs attend the dentist regularly, trying to get on the list for a new dentist can indeed be like pulling teeth all the same.

There’s one thing I don’t understand: haven’t the British invented electronic hospital registration yet?!

Well you're in the system, or the majority of us are. When you attend the likes of A&E or the GP and you provide your name and address they have access to your medical records which are stored in electronic format(data on a drive/server farm).

For sure.

Sean Connery is the best Bond by far. I don’t even think it’s disputable.

Loved him in the movie “The Rock”, one of my favorite action movies of all time. And he was awesome in many others.

By the way, I adore Sir Sean Connery. I have 23 Bond films in my collection, even those that were not officially included in the Bond series. Sean is the best.

By the way, I also really like Sir William Wallace, especially Mel Gibson. I don’t understand how they, especially Wallace, became sir. Really betrayed?(((

Sean Connery is a fair man too.

The best agent 007 according to the many, Sean Connery, doesn’t miss the opportunity to stress that Kosovo is still a part of Serbia and that it doesn’t deserve independence.

The famous actor is clearly well informed in world politics, so during one of the main actions of Albanian separatists, he insisted that the southern Serbian province doesn’t deserve to be independent.

“I don’t understand why Kosovo is a special case. How is that they can be independent, and many others can’t. Why then Scotland can’t secede from Great Britain?! Kosovo must stay in Serbia. All of this is a hypocrisy”, he said during the press conference.

And years after the proclamation of self-appointed Republic of Kosovo, Sean Connery doesn’t miss to mark that a huge injustice was made towards Serbia, and he usually says that when he urges his fellow Scots to demand a secession from Great Britain. He doesn’t live in Scotland anymore, and he said that he wouldn’t come back there until it was independent.

Not steer off this Navalny news. But it’s clear he has been weaponized by western media without showing full facts about the guy to general public.

Who sadly probably just pick up their head and look at the headlines and think that’s that without applying critical thinking etc.

He was one of my grandpa's favorites. I liked him in "The Hunt for Red October".

I still like Braveheart, Mel Gibson, not so much these days, bit nuts and all that jazz.

There is no real historical record as to who knighted William Wallace, as far as im aware his early life and background were not extensively documented until he killed the Sheriff of Lanark.

It was not Robert the Bruce like in the movie that's for sure.

Kind of feel sad for all those Russians who had to endure freezing arctic weather conditions this winter without a way to even heat there homes, because of all those pipes that were bursting and the inability of the Russian government to repair them. Or was it because the government (Putin) doesn’t actually care about the Russian people and was more interested in financing his war in Ukraine?

Kind of ironic though, considering it was Russia that was making all those propaganda claims about how Europeans were going to freeze to death in there homes come winter due to not buying gas from Russia… yet come winter, the only people freezing in there homes were Russians.

Yes, it was a real winter this year, with frost, as we are used to and love. I didn’t have any communal disasters in Saratov, apparently the mayor and governor are normal people, and not like in the Moscow region - a fan of Israel. Now in Saratov it’s -8 degrees, in my apartment it’s +24 degrees, the window is slightly open for ventilation. I sit at home in jeans and a T-shirt. There is a lot of snow, for us it’s a thrill)))

Again not a nursery rhyme but rather a saying or to be more precise an "informal fallacy".

You really are all over the place today.

Put the bottle down big fella, and get some kip.

According to UN statistics, people in England drink much more alcohol than in Russia. So leave your wish to yourself)))

Short term pain = long term gain , bowing to a dictatorship is not in our blood.

Over 270 people were arrested in Russia yesterday for nothing more than showing their respects to a dead man.
19855 arrested since the invasion of Ukraine.

I hope one day glasnost and perestroika will return and bring a new dawn for Russia , until then we stay the course.

Hello! I don't like beer, but my brother is a beer connoisseur. He prefers craft beer from small private breweries, or good Czech beer.
I prefer strong drinks, especially with good fatty lamb food in a good friendly campaign and songs with a guitar)))

By law, they were required to submit an application and notice in advance. This is the law.
Half of them are journalists. Everyone was released without even drawing up reports.

Interestingly, the posters were mostly in English. It's the same as if there were posters in Swahili at protests in England. Don't you think this is strange? Unless they worked for a foreign audience))))
