And its OK with you that he would encourage the invasion of US allies?

Calm down... I kind of wish people would stop the OMFG! selective outrage every time Trump says something.

I think people should be outaged by what he said.

If you are OK with a US presidential candidate saying he would encourage the invasion of allies then maybe you need to be a bit less selective in your outrage.

Why need to bring the left and biden to this when the topic is about Trump ? I have certainly no bond to left nor biden . I think America has 2 really bad candidates if Trump/Biden will be the 2 .

I can't recall Biden ever supporting the invasion of allies however.

That is unfair because we can't tell what Biden is really saying. He might be saying "I hope Russia attacks" or he might be saying "I bet that little girl's hair smells good". We just do not know.

Now to this part about Trump, did you go online and listen to it? He was talking to one NATO member that does NOT pay into it. They asked him if they didn't pay would the US still protect them? He said... If you do not pay then hell no. Russia can do whatever they want.

If you listen to it then you can put it in a proper context.

If people are going to go on and on about Trump's mental condition and say nothing about the SITTING PRESIDENT that can't remember last week or get a proper sentence out of his mouth then how do I put any merit to what they say...what you say...

Link a post from you about how Biden is losing it and I will reconsider my point above on you.

He said in response to a supposed hypothetical* he would encourage the invasion. That isn't just going against how alliances work it is actively supporting enemy aggression.

*just as likely the whole thing is another made up story by Trump.

Outrage? Really? Go listen to it...

You know what outrages me is the border being flooded and the left saying nothing to see here while spending four years stopping Trump from securing it, and then Biden day one working on reversing all he actually got done.

I could give you another quick dozen of outrages...

Look what’s going on with Biden in charge. Zelensky is losing anyway.

Whether Trump wins or not, it’s not going to change Russia’s trajectory in Ukraine going forward.

If anything having Trump elected again, there would be better chances of a decrease in both Ukrainian and Russian casualties.

It's becoming apparent that Trump doesn't understand the historical significance behind WHY nations like Germany aren't paying their way the way Trump thinks they should.

There's seven US garrisons in Europe, five of them in Germany. Their army presence is headquartered in Germany, nearly 40,000 troops are there. The US and NATO actively decided that because of Germanys history, to basicslly neuter them from focus8ng anything on military spending. Why do you think they make such good cars?

Trump can't tell a nation like Germany to pull their own weight, while neglecting to admit that Germany is reliant on the US for protection. So what Trump has been "trolling" or "joking about" Russia attacking these nations so they start ramping up their military spending again, begs the questions, why is he beating the drums of war?

He said he would encourage the invasion of an allied country.

Which part do of that do you think is open to interpretation?

Good, maybe more people will realise Trumps complete unsuitability for office.

The selective listening in political discussions is irritating.

I've recently mentioned to the Dems here they should be more concerned about the Dem Party processes that are dysfunctional than a possible second Trump term. The physicians really need to heal themselves before lending advice to others.

On the Trump comment. I would bet dollars to doughnuts the country he was talking about was Germany. What ordinary Europeans may not grasp it that it is, for Americans, infuriating to see European countries make excuses about not paying their NATO tab while they search for money to establish a regional rival called the "EU army" (a concept, without a serious nuclear force backing it, is dead in the water from the start, btw). The EU politicians have been too clever by half for too long, and that is why comments like the one Trump made resonate with parts of the American public.

Whether Trump would actually try to follow through on such a notion is an entirely different topic.

Cheers

OK who cares... Go listen to it...

He basically said, pay up or America will not protect you. He saw America paying 95% for NATO and has been the only person to come along and say that is wrong. He strong-armed the members to really pay their share, is that bad in your eyes? You are stuck on a word when we both know that America would protect NATO.
