That's for her constituents to determine.

From where I'm sitting, it appears this judge will determine before her constituents....

This is a hearing requested by Trump's co-defendant, Mike Roman, to determine whether or not the case should be dismissed on grounds that Willis and Wade were dating. So far, nothing has come out that would justify a dismissal.

If Fani is removed, so goes the case from Fulton County.

As far as I understand it anyway.

What say you to that?

I'm not familiar with Georgia's constitution. Does the judiciary have the authority to remove an elected official from office?

I'm not familiar either. Yet they are in court. What other remedy would be warranted?

Why would it disappear? She has prosecutors that are familiar enough with the case to run it and her temporary replacement would be someone that's in the office.

Because she is the elected prosecutor. The entire office rests upon her.

It's not like an appointed position.

They're in court to determine whether or not a motion to dismiss the case is warranted.

It's a misconduct/disqualification hearing.

This isn't a simple motion to dismiss last I knew.

Yes, it's an elected position. Meaning many in that office have gone through multiple DAs and the wheels kept turning.

The entire office would be disqualified as I understand it.

Some other GA county may then pick it up.

Again, as I understand it.

It's a motion to dismiss and disqualify. Roman wants Willis and Wade disqualified and he wants the case dismissed because he claims their relationship invalidates the evidence presented to the grand jury because of conflict of interest.

It’s fun watching Cracker Jack lawyers getting destroyed.

Willis appears to be one along with the ones here.

She is an affirmative action position holder, she isn’t qualified to be the Fulton Co dog catcher.

Maybe, but like I said. I'm not convinced her misconduct has anything to do with the Trump case. I've seen nothing offered that speaks to it.

Yet, now that she's demonstrated some lies, that's a pretty big deal.

I'm just saying if she gets disqualified, there goes the case in Fulton Co.

Again....as I understand it.
