Putin has steered Russia into a fascist like state. It's not hard to see. Calling Carlson a propagandist is a bit of a stretch. But then again, I did watch him give a speech here in Canada basically gaslighting, belittling, and demoralizing his target audience. And he uses his platforms to do that constantly.

So it begs rhe question, what's his goal?

Putin's first line...

PUTIN: Our message is Russia is not your enemy. We don’t want war. We’re ready for peace. Your leaders seek
conflict. This is not what we want. Russia stands for its own people. We do not want what is not ours.

He doesn't explain what is theirs so maybe I can help...

Ukraine is theirs
Finland is theirs
Sweden is theirs
Poland is theirs
Romania is theirs
Goeroga is theirs
Crimea is theirs

And they will add other counties as they see fit...

Just need to listen to the Charlie Rose interview a few years back and compare what he said back then to what is going on today. We can do the same with this interview in three years to see the lies, whataboutism, and just outright BS.

It’s official.

Carlson is interviewing Putin.

....

Carlson is not bound by the controlling powers of western media so I am looking forward to this interview.
....

That's true. Instead, Carlson will be bound by the controlling powers of Russian media. That would be Putin. Why do you think Putin chose Carlson? Because he knows Tucker will say exactly what he wants him to say. Tucker is Putin's tool.

Seriously? Just Tucker is a tool. Not any of the other media hacks who interviewed Vlad? SMH

If people want to say that the west started this war, you note Russia did both invasions. If they want to say we have absolutely no business helping Ukraine you point to the Budapest Memorandum.

Where would Russia be today if they didn't invade Crimea or Ukraine while not getting involved in Donbas? Would their security be threatened in anyway? Nope... No one wants Russia, well maybe China, but the EU/US do not want it in any way. They can keep that hellhole of a frozen country.

What was their reason for invading Crimea BTW, and it seems all their faked reasons have all disappeared and we are down to just one...Ukraine is ours, just like Crimea is.

Russia just isn't our problem. It's the Russian people's problem, let them deal with it and we'll deal with our own problems.

I agree, but it is what Putin does outside of Russia that starts to be our problem. Would you rather fight Russia in a proxy war or a real war?

I wish people would see how much parallels are todays Russia and nazi Germany . Too much to ask ?

The Hitler Youth and the Indoctrination of German Children

How Putin is preparing children to ‘die for the motherland’

'Readiness For Service': Russia's Schools Continue Marching Toward Militarization

The next generation of fighters are indoctrinated , to die in honour by protecting the motherland against imaginery enemy . Parallels also to how hamas did , as they indoctrinated the kids hate and kill Jews .

Agreed, the largest nation by land mass was greedy and wanted more.

A lot of people compare Russias aggressive foreign policy to other nations. But it’s not a true comparison as Russia is looking to annex, something that isn’t always the intent for conflict.

All one needs to do is look at the old USSR map and see what Putin thinks is theirs...

He’s building a new media brand after his exit from Fox.

Tucker has always come off more professionally/money motivated than he is ideological.

His public messaging has sometimes differed from his personal opinions as some court cases has shown. His views on Trump personally weren’t always in line with what his show broadcasted.

All that said, I still don’t see the damage of an interview even if there a nefarious agendas and parties involved.

To me the real concern is a society that is scared of situations that require critical thinking and assessing intent while consuming content. If the society can actually be damaged by an interview, Tucker and Putin are merely a symptom and we better find and address the problem or we’re doomed.

Putin allocates funding to seek USSR foreign owner properties and register them to Russia.

I think Putin is ruthless and would easily kill those who oppose him. But to hear his views and answers shouldn't be something to fear, only learn from. Even if he's full of crap. why people fear this perplexes me.

You are just Putins apologist

You're not a rational person.

I don't care about Russia. I don't care about Ukraine. I don't care about Europe.

I care about America.

yep, money instead of blood. i hate to say it, but the longer it drags out in Ukraine the less likely the broke dick ol farty can rebuild russia's equipment to invade another country, there is a reason their not putting many if any of most of their most advanced aircraft and tanks on the front line, they can't afford to replace them. also Ukraine seem bound bent and determined to add useless subs to their black sea fleet.

that's why he's dealing with pooh xi, iatola assahola, and rocket man little kim, the new axis or should i say the evil quad of four.

not only that, russian men 18 to 60 are still fleeing no matter what anyone one says.

the only hope farty has is a world scrap. a sound ass whooping now could and most likely would delay that for as least 20 years.

and he's going back even futher than that,

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered a government unit to search for real estate abroad that belonged to the Soviet Union and even the Russian Empire, the state news agency TASS reported on January 19.
Putin is trying to track down overseas properties that the Soviet Union owned and stake claims on them

Exactly this.

I don’t care what Putin says… won’t believe any of it anyway.

I do care many of the people of the USA have gone so authoritarian they attack journalists.

And that our media is strait up uniparty propaganda.

Free press and free speech are essential.

I've heard discussions about the Russian revolution being sold to the Russian people as an extremely conservative movement, to return to a time when the Russian empire controlled a lot more territory than what the Romanovs controlled.
Of course, it ended up turning into the USSR. But look at how much the USSR controlled.
Putin wants his own "reich" back to a time when the Russian empire existed it seems.

Well I enjoyed the interview, shame it wasn't longer.

I liked the comment at the end about not having to hear Taylor swift.

I don't think your average person thinks into situations like this as much as the likes of your ATS daily user. So an interview like this is nothing more than a PR stunt for Carlson, to seem like he's on the edge of fringe journalism, like you said, building his brand.

Although, I hate to reference this guy, Hitler did interviews, and even hosted the Olympics... I guess everyone was non the wiser to see what was on the horizon?
