Where are you getting your facts? Not from Article 1, Section 8 of the US Constitution. The Constitution isn't suspended by a disgruntled governor's edicts.

Being aware that a harmful and illegal invasion is going on isn't being 'disgruntled'. You and your bias calling them 'disgruntled governors edicts' doesn't change the fact that the states have a right to declare INVASION and have a right to declare that the US Government has not kept up it's end of the contract. The States have a right to declare that .. and they are.

Even illegal immigrants have the right to due process in the USA.

Doesn't change the fact that tens of millions of them overflowing the border and bringing economic ruin to the USA is INVASION and thereby breaks the Constitutional contract. There are LEGAL channels for them to go through. Jumping the line and illegally coming here by the tens of millions is invasion.

Look. Russia is invading Ukraine. They're bombing schools, apartment building and hospitals, shopping malls and villages. That's an invasion. Desperate, displaced migrants showing up in numbers, asking for refuge isn't.

That's a different kind of invasion. Tens of millions of people overflowing the border and entering the USA illegally while bringing economic ruin is an INVASION. Both are invasion.

"According to US law, everyone who claims asylum has a right to their case adjudicated in immigration court, by an immigration judge."

.... doesn't change the fact that tens of millions of them coming here illegally, swarming over the border and causing harm to our country, is an INVASION and therefore breaks the Constitutional contract agreement that states have with the federal government.

All your illegal buddies are nothing more than criminal invaders. They have LEGAL channels they can go through. They are line jumping which is not fair to those playing by the rules and it's destructive to the United States which means they would be lousy citizens.

They have LEGAL channels they can go through.

And yet, the channels that they're going through, are legal too.

You must be on US Soil to claim asylum. It doesn't matter how you got there.

Fruit of the Poisonous Tree prevents breaking a law first to gain from another law. Border jumping at a not legal port of entry is the first illegal act. Biden Admin Gov is ignoring that, and in fact THAT policy may be illegal as well. CATCH22+2. Wait for that case to hit The SCOTUS 😀

You'd think so, but no. It's true that border jumping is illegal. However, having that on your record will not from disqualify from obtaining or claiming asylum. And, even though you border jumped, you still are protected from deportation until your case has been adjudicated in immigration court, by an immigration judge, once you've officially claimed asylum.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the last time that asylum law was addressed by Congress was in the 1980's.
