Yes. I think we all knew why they did not want information released. It shows not only collusion of the WH and NARA and the FBI but that the entire time Trump was cooperating to the point of NARA saying we are not done and not sure when we will be.

Again, I have said this many times. If there was the least bit of treasonous material he would be in jail right now.

The fact that the Department of Energy retroactively revoked Trumps security clearance is particularly dubious.
They all need to go.

We've known that NARA referred the case to the FBI after they received the Fifteen Boxes in January 2022. We've also known that NARA needed to get approval from the White House in order to release the boxes to the FBI due to the Presidential Records Act.

Putting things in perspective shows the degree to which criminal federal and state officials fear a Trump second term.

The grand jury testimony of Donald Trump's valet is to be made public under an order by Judge Aileen Cannon, after months of argument over its release.

Both Trump and valet Walt Nauta had wanted the testimony released, in opposition to prosecutor, Jack Smith, who feared an unredacted version would identify witnesses in the Florida classified documents case.

Smith previously told Cannon he did not want potential witnesses to be intimidated.

The former president is facing 40 federal charges over his handling of sensitive materials retrieved from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, after he left the White House in January 2021. He is accused of obstructing efforts by federal authorities to return them. Trump has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Nauta and Carlos De Oliveira, a Mar-a-Lago maintenance worker, are accused of moving boxes of sensitive materials around Trump's Florida home to prevent federal agents from finding them and conspiring to delete security footage that had been sought under a subpoena. Nauta and De Oliveira have pleaded not guilty to all federal charges against them, including conspiracy to obstruct justice.

Witnesses are not kept secret. Even in cases that involve the mob.

Prosecutors will put people in the witness protection program and/or provide security but keeping them secret would violate the consitution.

Can you imagine how much that would be abused by prosecutor.
"Someone said you did something wrong but you can't know who they are"

If they are talking about confidential informants, then it's a balancing test.
