Wow...Troops and Officers from 10 states are arriving in Texas, with more to come.

Governor Greg Abbott (R-Texas) told former Fox News host Tucker Carlson Friday that ten states have already sent National Guard troops or other law enforcement members to the southern border to aid Texas in the face of growing pressure from President Joe Biden’s administration to allow Border Patrol agents to remove razor-wire barriers the state installed to deter illegal immigrants from pouring into the state.

This looks to be backfiring on Brandon. This isn’t turning out how some on here we’re saying it would. This seems to be the line in the sand drawn. Fortunately I think most American citizens are behind Texas. If anything I think the truckers will at least be showing a voice that Americans are done with this #.

With it being election year I’m sure the treasonous Democrat party is going to take a step back and take a look at the repercussions at the voting booth this could cause. They would back way off if they new what’s good for them but…….not holding my breath either.

This reminds me of the Canadian Truckers convoy, except instead of blocking the borders, they were blocking Trudeau at parliament...essentially.

This U.S. trucker blockade could suffer the same fate as the Canadian trucker blockade, in that, governments can simply invoke whatever unjustified, unconstitutional act they want to control the situation then later say oops, sorry we have now learned from that mistake and will know better for next time - "it seemed reasonable and justified at the time" seems to be what they thought was a good reason, although some citizens affected by that blockade and had to deal with aggressive protesters still think to this day that invoking that act was justified, so there is that too.

But the convoy may suffer consequences from citizens if their blockades cause any harm, such as loss of business or trauma from excessive noise or as with the Canadian convoy fear of being harassed in your neighbourhood because you don't take the same stance or wore a mask. But I haven't a clue where this convoy will ultimately stop to hold their protest and if they will impede or step on any other citizen's constitutional toes. Lock and load?

A proposed $290-million class-action lawsuit against convoy organizers on behalf of downtown Ottawa residents, workers and business owners is also still unfolding in Ontario court, said Paul Champ, lawyer for the lead plaintiff in the case.

WASHINGTON — The House rejected the GOP’s compromise immigration measure Wednesday following weeks of negotiations and a last-minute endorsement from President Donald Trump.

Lawmakers overwhelmingly rejected the bill in a 121-301 vote, falling short of the roughly 218 votes needed to pass. No Democrats voted in favor of the bill.

I beginning to think "convoys" are nothing more than deployed distractions to circumvent the use of more appropriate direct action by the populace.

Yep, publicly showing support of an idea or position is certainly a distraction. It's also a way to draw attention, attention to issues that seem to be ignored or rebuffed by certain people in power. Will it have an affect? Who knows. If the weather were nicer and people were less inclined to go to work, had nothing much to do but protest, well then, the people that are concerned about this issue might show up and protest at the white house. After all, there are millions of citizens who are against our open borders and invasion of our country from the millions of illegal immigrants that have come across it in the last couple of years. But I'm pretty sure most of those opposed to our open borders are busy working to help pay for the food, housing, medical care, clothing and other needs of the several million illegal immigrants. Besides the fact that severe weather has hit several areas and people are still recovering from massive storms, flooding, snowfall and extreme temps.

What exactly is "GD civic duty"? If people are in support of this show of solidarity and able to suffer through the inconveniences as a result of the demonstration, then so be it.

The agreement would automatically reject migrants and asylum seekers from crossing the border illegally once the daily average for border crossings surpasses 5,000 over a week or crossings surpass 8,500 on a single day, sources tell Axios. The Department of Homeland Security would also have the option of using the authority even earlier — once crossings surpass a daily average of 4,000 over the course of a week. Migrants could be granted exceptions for humanitarian reasons. There would also be harsher penalties for those who attempt to illegally cross the border multiple times, banning them from entering the U.S. after two attempts.
