It's amusing how so many applaud state rights when it's for pot or illegals.

Or abortion.

That is avoidable. You simply don't view or transmit porn. Should be easy to do for non-depraved, rational, mentally healthy people.

I've always questioned why some people are so obsessed with other peoples sexuality........that's not healthy either!

A little therapy perhaps....

Uhh, you may need to read that better. Yes it does mention child pornography, but in the first image, which is in the link as well, it states:
"Child pornography OR obscene materials OR any unlawful pornography."

Not just child pornography which again as I'd like think everyone agrees is abhorrent.

Now for those that don't agree with pornography and believe you should never look outside your spouse, I hate to break it to you, but many couples watch porn together which only adds to their own enjoyment, together. With no intention of ever going outside of their marriage. The law also allows nude pictures sent to a spouse. So again, punish those not married? A couple who is not married would be breaking the law because a dirty picture is shared between them? A little overreach I would say.

I was asking what people think of the bill and with more and more of these aiming towards what people do in the bedroom, or who they love, are we seeing a real push towards some sort of puritanical or theocratic agenda? I did not mention anything about the states right to present the bill.

Not sure why you always try to push some sort of "gotcha" or twist every little thing I do into something else. I get you don't like me, but you're starting to become very petty, and it's not a good look.

I don't live in Oklahoma.

*shrugs*

If the people voted in people to represent them, and those people want to ban porn, then, okay.

I live in Oregon. Too many things I hate here, but the cities are full of leftists, so not much I can do.

That's Oklahoma. I feel It's their state's right to be repressed puritans if they want to. They got themselves a Neo-Comstock. Normal age-consenting porn must be a gateway drug to the sick sh*t in his ultra-fundimentalist mind.

That's messed up to ban normal people porn, though.

Luckily for me, I dont have to live among that repression. We still have Van Nuys. The Valley in general.

Anyway, around the country there are hundreds of Christian-tinged bills to repress anything slightly deviant. It was bound to happen.

No.

People can and do vote away our rights and freedoms all the time.

They are idiots.

Morons.

Leftists.

But now I'm being redundant.

Agreed. So, this bill should thrown out and let people enjoy their porn freely.

Not if the people vote differently.

Do you want to go against what the people want?

I am not happy with the trend in several states passing all these new anti porn laws to protect kids. I live in a state where now adult web cams and web sites are blocked for adults because now everyone has to create an account and log in to use a web site. It is restricting and I don’t think other parents should be passing laws restricting me and other adults when they can use their own blocking software.

I guess kids may have to use a vpn and other adults will have to pay extra and use a vpn or simply watch 1000 more people get shot, stabbed, or blown up in a family safe John Wick movie. Safe for all kids with no age restrictions. Apparently watching hundreds of people get shot is safe to watch as long as no one gets naked and it’s not on the Internet.

Child pornography is out of the question, like snuff films, however, there is a range of sexual conduct engaged in by adults. Now considering that this law states you cannot possess media containing normal heterosexual intercourse between consenting adults, that right there is way over the top IMO. Then they have a list of sexual activities that seem normal enough to someone like me who has engaged in more than half of that in my 20s and 30s (and is now so old to give a rat's ass), that's gone too far for possession at least.

Sales, I can see having a license to sell, maybe, but ban the sale of erotica? No, I think not, not even homo-erotica though I'm straight. I don't view porn or have any interest in it anymore, but if someone wants to "toss off to a good book" they should be free to do that without it being illegal. Back when I was a randy young lad, my dad's stash of National Geographic or better yet nudist camp magazines, was all I had until my older brothers turned me on to Hustler and Playboy, then I found that more was available from my friends in HS. All that seems so harmless now compared to what is currently available on the internet.

Idk but I'm of the opinion certain sexual proclivities could be indicitive of, or gateways to other behaviors, and/or mental health issues.

Not all furries are... K9... "enthusiasts" let's say. No doubt. But...

If dressing up and pretending to be an animal during sex is your thing, it will lead me to wonder what darker areas of the mind and maybe flesh, you have explored.

There are a lot more people into animals then one might think and they definetly prefer some communities over others. It's a rabbit hole I don't suggest exploring, because it's pretty sickening. Research at your own peril.

Maybe that's where the obsession comes in. One has to wonder/worry, what form degeneracy takes and how far it spreads.

no, you are mistaken. The first and only time anyone ever questioned an election was the totally above board and most secure in the history of man 2020 elections. Anything before that, was your imagination.

I currently live in OK, no way in hell this bill will pass in its current form. OK is more liberal than people think, most conservatives are fairly open minded here. We sell more legal MJ per capita than any state in the country and plenty of gay bars in areas of OKC and Tulsa. The Rep trying to pass this is from Lawton, which is hardly representative of OK in general. I also think that a large majority of politicians and staff are going to realize they’d be in violation of this bill if it ever passed. I don’t see it happening at all, nope. I’m all for any child porn and beastiality laws but the rest of it, nah, ain’t going to happen.
