if you want to understand this, do some investigation. Look into this as some of us have. The facts exist, you just have to look for them.

Trump did all he could legally do to increase the protection for his supporters. Capitol Security falls under the Speaker of the House ultimately. The Chief of Capitol Police had also asked for increased numbers in the days before the riot. He was also turned down. Several times. Please educate before you form opinions.

Explain to me again why we needed all the extra security for a "tour" of the Capitol building?

Oh, that's right. Now we will argue that it was Pelosi's fault because she didn't have the National Guard there. Well, why in the world would that be needed?

Yes, everyone who understood the crowd size wanted more security. Trump wanted it to protect his supporters from ANTIFA. Who knows if that was really a thing, but had he got his way, none of this would have been an issue. Oh wait, so if security was lax, and we had a giant gaggle of pissed off people, perhaps just a few Ray Epps' like folks could stir that hornets nest into a riot, then it can be called an insurrection!

If you are honest, you can look into this and see the writing on the wall. If you are a partisan douchebag, then you will likely think this was all organic and no other influencing factors were involved.
