Rep. Barry Loudermilk is investigating security failures on Jan. 6 and hopes to bring 'just the facts of what happened'

Of course there is finger pointing all over, but that's just noise. If the right is allowed to investigate all aspects of this as the left was, then we might be able to get a glimpse of the truth here. I do realize that there can be many who aren't different (two sides of the same coin), but there are also some that aren't. And if one of those folks is allowed to find out the answers to questions many of us have raised, we might see "what really happened". And it could be just as the MSM portrayed it. We have already been forced into that version of reality. But if there is another version, that is one we haven't lived through yet.

We continue to live in interesting times. Keep your powder dry.

There was a massive security failure on that day. Everyone knew the rally was taking place well in advance, and that tensions were very high. To not have a large security force in place around the capital, was stupid. I mean let me think about this, massive rally about the election being stolen, election certification on the day of said rally. Meh we should probably post a few cops at the capital. Someone should been in deep, over that, but as of yet buttkiss

it could. And I don't remember exactly where the post was, but Xcalibur was nice enough to alert me to a new law change that allows for someone being responsible for an insurrection (I don't know the exact terminology) to be jailed for life instead of 25 years. I do get that 25 years would be life for most of the one's responsible for this, as they are all old and haggard.

It would be a glorious day to find out there really is justice in our nation.

Hillary is still walking free and spewing garbage. There is no justice in this nation.
Sorry to be a Debbie downer ... but I don't see it. And it's frustratingly sad.

totally agree. But eventually, there may be too much evidence to ignore. At least that's my hope. And whomever it points to should get that justice.

I remember seeing this circulate the Interweb just after Jan. 6th but for some reason the corporate media didn't report on it. When I brought it up on social media platforms, it was generally ignored. While I haven't seen enough evidence to say Jan 6th was an "inside job", there was definitely blame to go around.

For those of us that know what happened, because we saw it, go ahead and investigate. Not the least bit worried about what they will find.

Just keep in mind how much of a difference releasing all those hours of tapes of the Capitol on January 6th made. Wasn't that suppose to show it all? Hmmm?

same here. I just want the Truth. I want to know why security was intentionally kept so small. And whomever is responsible should hang. I love common ground.

Eh, after the mess up of 2020 with Trump unilaterally calling in over 5000 various LEO and NG and considering the air support he called in ended up in a bit of trouble with army members reprimanded and diciplined and new guidelines implemented because the air support acted badly, low flying etc over people, she requested clarity. Also add in the unmarked federal officers sent to the west coast during that period as well. She wanted proper channels followed if necessary.

From your link.

“To avoid confusion, we ask that any request for additional assistance be coordinated using the same process and procedures.

”Bowser also explained that the presence of “unidentifiable” federal law enforcement agents in D.C. could “cause confusion” and “become a national security threat” because of the lack of distinction between them and “armed groups.”

It was Trumps Miller who issued the memo that the guard there were not allowed helmets, riot gear, weapons and were explicitly told not to interfere with the protesters.

There is no substitute for the grace of God. Glad you found a slice that was tangible rather than just spiritual. that's a rare thing.

sad is coming into a thread you say you don't want to be in, then making a post saying you don't want to be in the thread.
I hope your day gets better.
