Poll: Nearly half of Nikki Haley’s Iowa backers say they’d vote for Biden over Trump

Most likely Republican Iowa caucusgoers say they’ll vote for former President Donald Trump in the general election if he’s the GOP nominee, regardless of the candidate they’re supporting on caucus night.

That is, except supporters of former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, with nearly half of them — 43% — saying they’d vote for Democratic President Joe Biden over Trump.

She's been doing TV ads too. They're for South Dakota, encouraging people to move there, but I wondered if they weren't dual-purpose to also get her some additional recognition for when she becomes his running mate. I hardly watch TV and I've seen her a bunch of times here in Pennsylvania.

They do entrance polls. If the entrance polls reflect what they were expecting, and someone is as far ahead in polling as Trump has been, they can call it even before the vote is counted.

This isn't hard to understand. And Fox News's calls are unofficial. They do not decide the winner.

Earlier tonight on CNN they were making a big deal out of entrance polls where 32% of the caucus-goers said if Trump was convicted of a crime it would make him unfit to be President...

What was interesting was the discussion immediately went to how bad that will be for him in November. There was no qualification of "if that happens..." it was just straight up yeah this WILL be bad for him in November.

Because they know he will be convicted no matter what the evidence says. They know that.

Hopefully more voters realize that too.
