--There is a lot of talk about the Jan 15th Iowa Caucus this election cycle. Even though it's a Republican/GOP event, there are more detailed discussions and analysis of it on Democrat-owned CNN and MSNBC, than on Republican outlet FoxNews.

--HOWEVER, all the analysis and speculations are focused on how close candidate Ron DeSantis (FL Governor) and Nikki Haley (FMR SC Governor) can get to the current leader, former President Donald J. Trump. In other words, who can "win" second place, and by how many percentage points.

Presently, the standings are: Trump 52.4%, Haley 17.2%, DeSantis 12.6% and Ramaswamy 11.9%.

--One thing everyone is looking for is if a single GOP candidate can get over 50% of the vote. In the 52 year history of the Iowa Caucuses, this has never happened.

--And, this coming Monday is scheduled to be the COLDEST Iowa Caucus ever. The temperature is expected to be 4 below zero (-4 F) when the 7pm state caucuses commence.

I wonder if there will be a Democrat Iowa Caucus this year? Maybe not, if President Joe Biden and the DNC have not permitted any caucus competitors in Iowa, as they have done in some other states.

If Vivek Ramaswamy gets elected I hope he has a great security force around him that can not be bought off, otherwise, he is a dead man walking as by his own words he really will drain the swamp...IMO

The R and the D are just stupid at this point.
More so the Republican party. All they do is make themselves look more childish with each passing day. They have single handily lost themselves many elections and will continue to do so.

Bernie Sanders, winner of the Democrat's 2020 Iowa Caucus, says if Donald Trump wins, our system...

1) government by the people especially : rule of the majority

2) a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections

3) a political unit that has a democratic government

I started liking Bernie after Hillary threatened his wife in 2016. Then, he fought to ensure self-employed people were eligible for Covid unemployment in 2020.

I can see myself voting for Bernie. He's really a Dem version of MAGA-AF.

Bernie is full of $h1t . His job is to bring in the young and naive voters and then hand them off to the real candidate. Just like he has done every single time. He supported the poster child of conflict of interest and corruption [Hilalry] which went completely what he suppodsly stood for.

This is literally political theater to generate ad revenue and stuff war chests. Trump will win the nomination even from sing sing. He has already hinted at knowing who he wants for VP and it probably isn't Desantis or Haley. Neither of the candidates will even attack Trump directly. Not sure why they are even trying

Is Vivek Ramaswamy an attorney? If so, he'd make an excellent MAGA-AF Attorney General! I would say he'd make a great VP for President Trump, but Ramaswamy is as bullheaded as Trump.

He has already chosen the VP and reached an agreement with that individual. It's just a matter of announcing it at the right time. Would just before the Iowa caucus be better to the announce the ticket than after Iowa?

In Iowa, a Cute little trophy for Ron DeSantis, LOL.

This is more than a little funny. The stuff people do can just make you laugh out loud sometimes.

Some guy interrupts Ron DeSantis as he begins to start his remarks at a campaign event to present the Florida governor with an actual participation trophy. It took a few seconds for people to realize DeSantis was being trolled.

He's a commie. Democracy is the last thing he wants. 'Democracy is finished if Trump wins' has become the go to phrase now from the Democrats and other establishment politicians and talking heads. All whilst the very same people are currently in the process of dismantling democracy (and are almost complete).
