It will all end in tears. I am getting more and more nervous about the fate of this country.

Sometimes I think it is all sort of boomer vanity. They are going to take out their lifelong hatred of eachother on us. Moreso from the DNC side, in my eyes, but its still just keeps rolling along even though most of us know in our logical sense that all of this is nonsense.

The hatred of Trump isn't all that bizarre if you watch CNN or any MSM for that matter news. Its a bell they have been ringing for 7 or so years now non stop.

My inlaws believe in all of it. It never matters what I show them as proof. They do not want to hear it. They not only drank the coolaid, they swim in it.

But he ran again and lost--using the exact same electoral process by which he had won 4 years earlier--and decided to lie, cheat, and steal try to stay in office anyway. That's the point where he attempted to do an end run around the democratic process by which we run our Republic. That's what he actually did. It's not hypothetical. It's why he's got multiple felony lawsuits going right now.

He did nothing that has not been done before by democrats...nothing.

What is different though is the application and stretching of laws in order to try and stop him, which is going directly against the people, or "your democracy."

Yet you can't see it because the irrational hate clouds your thinking.

The real laughingstock? That democrats rallied against voting procedure, machines, and then invented a Russian hoax. Where are those charges?

we wouldn't have a problem.

Now you are just lying to our faces.
You guys always have a problem, it’s been nothing but manufactured Liberal problems for the last 8 years.

You claim what Trump has done is illegal, but yet you support the illegal ruling by the Colorado SC.
You guys can no longer claim the high road when all you do and have done is take the low road.
We cannot take you guys seriously anymore. Period.

Unfortunately, we're simply reverting to the historical mean. Lots of tyranny, subjugation, injustice and misery headed our way.

I guess the old saying that 'the more things change, the more they stay the same' is true.

Human nature has truly proven to be a stubborn thing to change.

I’m glad to see Colorado pulled this BS. Now republican states can take Biden off the ballot for letting 8m illegals in the country.

Ex Presidents can be held accountable eh? Obama needs to be charged for killing Americans in a drone strike.

As long as we have dupes like McConnell in leadership roles, that will probably never happen.

My guess is he wouldn’t have as much popularity this time around if they just let it run its course organically.

And there lies the rub in my mind. There are some of the greatest minds behind political campaign strategy, and they MUST know that all of their efforts are only giving Trump an even greater chance of winning, so WHY are they so hell bent on making him the most likely to win?

Either they want Trump as the next POTUS or the fix is in and they want to make sure every voter knows it's not the vote that counts, but who counts the votes.

Because they think they can beat Trump and only Trump.

Or.

They find it easy for the masses to swallow things like the "hate vote" while also messing with election integrity.

To be fair, the only reason both parties get away with the trash they push is the contrast of the other.

There is no avid support for Biden, the only reason he was capable of getting in power was the hatred for Trump. There isn’t anyone in the lefts pipeline that is viable to my knowledge… the only way any of them have any possibility of power is because of the hatred of Trump.

Even if Trump wins, the left gets to use him to sell their platform instead of having any meaningful policy.

this is my theory as well. And they are either super stupid, or this was the plan, and they have more nutjob ideas to throw at this. As I doubt they are all complete mouth breathing idiots (most are, but not all), I have to assume there is more planned to disrupt the system and cause chaos.

The DERP's who make that claim really can't articulate what Trump would do, or has done to destroy our democracy. He ran for office, won, and spent 4 years as President of the US.
......

Yes, and if he had stopped right there, we wouldn't have a problem.

Furthermore, you'd have to be an idiot to be surprised by that behavior. The POTUS takes an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution, which includes "taking care that the laws are faithfully executed". That's literally all the POTUS is required to promise to do. Play by the rules. Color within the lines. Donald Trump has never colored within the lines his entire life. He's not capable of it. If we're being honest, that's exactly why a lot of Trump supporters like him.

Looking to the future, is there really any doubt that he would try to complete his plan if he got another 4 years? He's setting in place all the same game plans and players.

The big lie has yet to be exposed. Once the cheat has been proven, then everything that is being used against him will only make him look more justified in his actions. Or, he's a giant orange crybaby, the election was legit, and the folks who claimed BAMN were douchebags just blowing hot air.

I can say from my point of view, the smugness was the tell for me. And I can't lie, my desire to smack the smug off the faces of those who display it is strong.

But as with our system, we each get to choose our candidate, and there will be an election, and the one who reaches 270 electoral votes wins. If that system was good enough for the last 250 years, why is Trump such a threat that it no longer works?

At least one of the Colorado SC justices understands what the law means.

Justices Carlos Samour, Maria Berkenkotter and Chief Justice Brian D. Boatright all dissented, but Samour was particularly critical of the 4-3 ruling. Samour and Boatright were each appointed by Democratic former Gov. John Hickenlooper, while Berkenkotter was appointed by current Gov. Jared Polis, also a Democrat.

"The decision to bar former President Donald J. Trump — by all accounts the current leading Republican presidential candidate (and reportedly the current leading overall presidential candidate) — from Colorado's presidential primary ballot flies in the face of the due process doctrine," Samour wrote.

"Even if we are convinced that a candidate committed horrible acts in the past — dare I say, engaged in insurrection — there must be procedural due process before we can declare that individual disqualified from holding public office," he wrote.

I can’t believe that the few self-proclaimed “Lawyers” here on ATS are not criticizing this ruling.
They are happily jumping up and down about it.

Because that's what they do - a lot of lying lol. It's hard to find impartial people that follow the letter of the law, it's mainly just a pool of "how can I contort and justify this in my favor" mentality.

It's a beautiful thing.

Bolding mine.

Agreed.

I have said it before, but I will say it again.

The world we live in, is because of the boomers.

They are selfish, only thinking of themselves and their pleasure. This is the world they created.

Sad thing is, now that they see what they created, they blame those who stood against them at the time. And want their OLD, WHITE, MALE leaders to fix it.

They will do what they think is necessary to stay in power...they don't realize that most of the younger generations blame them and don't trust them.

I listen to a lot of music, for obvious reasons. I love punk and grime...although I listen to anything. It is amazing the hate for the liberal left from the underground scene.

I quote Bob Vylan's song Pretty Songs:

"No liberal lefty c×@t is gonna tell me punching nazis ain't the way, if you wanna hold hands and sing, go do it over there while the big boys play. Ok."

I do think, as others have stated, that their visceral hatred for Trump is making him stronger than he would be. They should have forgotten his name Jan 20th, 2021. Trump would be long forgotten.

The strange thing is that I have never met an actual nazi nor any actual KKK members. I say this as a "underground" guy from when I was younger. I don't have the time for any nonsense like that these days, but its odd to see all these GenZ people parading around calling people nazi's that are just kind of "normal" people. Hell, Trumps policies are not all that different from Bill Clintons. I suppose lefty boomers taught everyone that anyone who disagrees with them about anything are not really human, but NAZI's. Its really wore out its welcome. When someone calls me any of the lefts favorite slang, I just do not care because I know they have no idea really what they are talking about - just parroting what people above them have brainwashed them to say.

It's sad because alot of these kids are not really going to be able to handle violence that they say they desire. Some will, but I notice that most are not cut out for it.

ANyway, I have no idea why people have to get freaked out about everything the way they do. They are foolish, they are doing the bidding of people that sit in mansions and yachts and honestly believe they are helping the downtrodden. It would be hilarious if everything wasn't turning into such a # show. We are all going to pay for this nonsense whether we think so or not.

Unfortunately, I have.

Back in the 90s, the neo nazi staged a rally in my town, about 220 of them. I was in college at the time. And did my senior project on the March. Lots of violence that weekend as the local SHARP crew called in other SHARP crews to support them. I was around 20 at the time and didn't know the difference between skins and racists. i soon learned.

For those who don't know, SHARP stands for Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice. The skinhead culture is about the working class standing together, for one another, no matter your skin color. Because no matter your skin color, the worker gets screwed. I stand with them to this day. I even hung out with a few Baldies out west for awhile. Did not join, just supported.

I have been in 6 or 7 fights with nazis in my lifetime. I won 1, drew on 1, and got my arse kicked in the remainders. They fought dirty, but I wear those scars with pride.

I still see boneheads at shows. I am too old to fight, but if I am working a gig, they get turned away. There is a new generation of skins who chase them away for me. I am in NY, btw.

I also, don't know why people freak out the way they do.

I think most people are too worn down to care. It is too much effort to think for themselves, so they just buy what they are sold. And they still want to be seen as caring and not being called some sort of -ist. So when they are told to be mad, they get mad.....but don't know why. So their anger is disjointed in a way.

The left could be cocky and think he’s the one they need to get on the right’s ticket because he’s the one they can beat.

They could be trying to take him down illegally because they’re scared.

He could be in on everything because he’s a former reality TV star and just in for the attention.

Or this is all just uncontrolled chaos because they’re all idiots.

Frankly none of the above would surprise me, and that was just quick thoughts. I’m sure there’s more scenarios.

We deserve a better conservative candidate than Trump. YOU deserve better than Trump.

Why? What is your problem with Trump? Spell it out. List it. Why can no one create a TRUTHFUL list of why Orange Man bad.

In the recent, the best anyone has is they are afraid Trump will do to them what Biden and the dems have done to him, and they probably do fear that.

He's not bad, and certainly not a criminal, just obnoxious. Heavily polarizing. Personally I'm not interested in having a comedian for president, especially one who thinks every national address should be performed like that Nick Cannon television show. More dignity and prose in the white house please.

But-but-but... Hunter! and inflation! and immigration! and Ukraine! Yeah. I know. Turd sandwich with pickles and cheese and his competitor is just plain turd on a bun. I can say FJB without saying MAGA.

I love Trump and throughly enjoyed his Presidency.

However, he will payback everyone that wronged him.

It would be four years of fighting.

I would love to laugh like that again.
