Hamas has never abided by a ceasefire. They use the time to regroup and rearm, then strike to kill again. Why would anybody want to assist in their warped religious ideology?

As with fights between couples, those not involved need to mind their own business and let the two parties figure it out. Getting involved only makes things far worse.

Sure, as you guys won't see me for a while and this is one of my last posts, I'll give a last tiny bit of info.

I started out with MPs, then I was with an elite airborne division, not gonna say which one, and I finished with 3 tours with SOCCE, not gonna say which SF group. I've spent nearly as much time inside a TOC as I did out in the field.

Wars are micromanaged as nothing else is.

Well, if Hamas wants peace why did they attack Israel? Sounds like they bit off more than they can chew this time.

As far as I know it was the nazi’s ( good Christians one and all ) who tried to exterminate the Jews in WW2, so I would guess that Jewish people have a right to dislike the Christians in the area, that side with Hamas.

Truthfully, as a Christian I believe that anyone who supports Hamas cannot call himself a Christian. Also anyone who tries to justify any brutality from the IDF is not a Christian. Personally I doubt the information in your links is truthful, Hamas kills innocent civilians and blames it on the IDF for the shock value.

When people like that poster tries to dumb it down like that, they are asking for us to fit inside a box where they can take potshots at our position.

And yet here we are, two extreme opposites on the political spectrum in agreement that the wholesale slaughter of everyone, including Jewish hostages by their own people, should stop.

We realize that if you hold the safety of innocent Israelis as your top priority (as they do), then you would also stop this slaughter.

But they are too stupid to realize that the tide can, and will turn.

That's when they will make the argument to stop the slaughter but it will be too late as they have encouraged it when the shoe is on the other foot.

These people used to have more balanced viewpoints before TPTB allowed this situation to unfold and so triggered what can only be described as the latest derangement syndrome to rear its ugly head.

Now there's no difference between them (BAMN) and those they held in utter contempt for almost a decade now.

It would be laughably stupid if it wasn't so goddamn tragic.

Israel says they didn't do it. Their operational review says it wasn't them.

So you have two choices

- An Israeli IDF played sniper and did it, and Israel is lying to cover. Israel took responsibility for the three dead hostages so they have admitted to screwups before. But they could be lying about this.

- The Patriarch of Jerusalem is lying for Hamas again and if anyone really was killed, it was by Hamas gunfire and they are just blaming the Jews - which also has happened before.

We will never know for sure.
