Starting the book of Leviticus named after the Levitical Priesthood. It may seem at first like it will be dry reading learning about the protocols of
the animal sacrifices and the different types of offerings found in the first chapters. But they help sound in the mind of the reader God's righteous
requirements and his need for us to be clean and holy and to answer and atone for our sins when we fall short, even if we don't even know about it. It
also helps us to see the need for the coming Messiah and the ransom sacrifice of the perfect life Jesus Christ once and for all times for all those
exercising faith in his shed blood on the torture stake on behalf of the whole world.
The reading today has to do with more of the Levitcal Priesthood and laws and regulations, but what I really enjoyed and honed in on was the Law
concerning the Jubilee. Great reading.
Finishing Leviticus. I uploaded this a couple days ago but have been late getting it here. I've been under the weather, not being able to read out
loud that well. I will have new content starting on Numbers soon.
Welp, just finished Deuteronomy. So the Torah, or Pentateuch, the books of Moses have all been read. I really enjoyed trekking through the wilderness
with Moses, and reading his inspired words as he wrote about the creation of the earth, the garden of Eden, the fall of the angels, the flood,
Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. The formation of the nation of Israel. The ten plagues on Egypt, the parting of the Red Sea, Jehovah's appearance to the
nation of Israel at Mt Sinai, the trek in the wilderness, and the Law Jehovah gave his people. What wonders Moses was able to see being so close to
Jehovah for so long. Just incredible!
