The DOJ has a rule that was established during the Trump administration that requires a full House vote authorizing an impeachment inquiry before they'll enforce any subpoenas related to an impeachment.

Ok?

And Brett Kavanaugh got slandered during a senate hearing.

And the country by any sane understanding shouldn’t be 30 trillion dollars in debt, but here we are.

The only time an investigation and subpoena can be issued is for an impeachment?

No. But Hunter was subpoenaed as part of Comer's impeachment investigation. Since there hasn't been a full floor vote on it, the DOJ won't enforce the subpoena.

An inquiry is also not needed to impeach. The only time it happened was during Donald Trumps 2nd. I am positive looking back it was all done to make sure he was impeached and would not run again. 1/6 was the set up for that.

Besides, now that we know the DOJ can surveil sitting a POTUS I think it is time for the House to subpoena all Bidens phone records.

The three experts analyzed Donald Trump's phone, extracted images, geolocation data, internet history and the times he was using his phone to post on social media to show his alleged encouragement of the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

but they still can't tell us whose coke it was???

The current administration is beyond corrupt.

Congressional Committees during an investigation before a public hearing use subpoenas to depose people. They did it to Trump. Why would it not apply here?

Ketanji Brown Jackson ruled that they can be enforced duting the Trump impeachment #1...right?

Is it really part of the “impeachment”?

Isn’t hunter’s investigation under something else.

WASHINGTON, Dec 13 (Reuters) - President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden defied an order by House Republicans to testify behind closed doors about his business dealings on Wednesday, ratcheting up tensions with lawmakers who plan to vote to formalize their impeachment probe of his father.

At a news conference outside the Capitol, Biden blasted the probe as baseless and indicated he would not cooperate with a subpoena by the House Oversight Committee to testify in private.

I would guess it was more under the IRS whistleblowers coming forward. And oversight.

Clinton's impeachment inquiry was initiated on October 8, 1998 by a vote of 258-176.

Nixon's impeachment inquiry was initiated on February 6, 1974 by a vote of 410-4.

On. Isn’t there a separate Hunter Biden investigation that isn’t impeachment related.

Then it’s expected the impeachment will be voted and passed to move forward, then it’s all a moot point.

The DOJ has often investigation into Hunter. Congress has no role in that. Hunter's Congressional subpoena is connected to Oversight's investigation into Biden.

?

Hunter Biden is very much under the oversight committee.

WASHINGTON—The House Committee on Oversight and Accountability today held a hearing with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) whistleblowers on the Biden criminal investigation. IRS whistleblowers who investigated Hunter Biden’s evasion of taxes on his $8.3 million in income today exposed the Department of Justice’s politicization and misconduct during the investigation. The Department of Justice prevented investigators from following evidence that could have led to Joe Biden; divulged sensitive information to Hunter Biden’s attorneys; and allowed the clock to run out to prevent charging Hunter Biden with felonies. President Biden’s politically appointed U.S. Attorneys for D.C. and Central District of California denied the U.S. Attorney in Delaware’s request to bring charges, which has now put Hunter Biden on the path to a sweetheart plea deal. Additionally, the IRS whistleblowers’ testimony confirms the Oversight Committee’s findings about the Biden family’s influence peddling schemes.

I would say there are wide schemes of obstruction of justice.

Which can be enforced before they vote on a formal impeachment. They did it to Trump why not Joe? I mean, the second one they did not even vote on and was the first time it impeachment was implemented that way. Good Ol Pelosi.

Right..the second time Pelosi-Schiff-Nadler impeached President Trump, there was NO IMPEACHMENT INQUIRY to ascertain if he possibly committed a crime(s).

The three idiots went right for the Impeachment Hearing and told all who were afraid of Trump running again to vote "YEA" for impeachment.

The Trump Impeachments broke many internal Congressional rules...and maybe violated the U.S. Constitution a couple of times.

I bet that changes just like the story about Joe not "being financially involved" with Hunter's business. It's no longer, lies, all damn lies.

Watch as Joe Biden Affirms DOJ’s Duty to Prosecute Anyone Who Defies Congressional Subpoena

Yet the White House said last week that a Congressional Subpoena is meaningless, if there's no full House vote on the Subpoena Inquiry. How crazy is that?
