Henry Kissinger died on Wednesday at his home in Connecticut, his consulting firm said in a statement. He was 100.

Measuring purely by confirmed kills, the worst mass murderer ever executed by the United States was the white supremacist terrorist Timothy McVeigh. On April 19, 1995, McVeigh detonated a massive bomb at the Murrah federal building in Oklahoma City, killing 168 people, including 19 children. The government killed McVeigh by lethal injection in June 2001. Whatever hesitation a state execution provokes, even over a man such as McVeigh – necessary questions about the legitimacy of killing even an unrepentant soldier of white supremacy – his death provided a measure of closure to the mother of one of his victims. “It’s a period at the end of a sentence,” said Kathleen Treanor, whose 4-year old McVeigh killed.

McVeigh, who in his own psychotic way thought he was saving America, never remotely killed on the scale of Kissinger, the most revered American grand strategist of the second half of the 20th century.

Ding dong the Devil is dead.

Kissinger was the chief strategist for Nixon and Ford. The policies he devised are estimated to have led to the deaths of millions of people.

Kissinger was able to rise to such heights by being the ultimate chameleon, like many psychopaths. H.R. Haldeman was quoted as calling him the "hawk of hawks" while he stalked the halls of the White House but also, "touching glasses at a party with his liberal friends, the belligerent Kissinger would suddenly become a dove."

Kissinger was a war criminal, a mass murderer, and, sadly, a major shaper of the late 20th century to today. If Hell exists, may he experience eternal suffering.

I was amazed by how clear Henry Kissinger's mind and thinking was, even at age 100. But it was painful to watch him talk and walk. Too bad brain transplants haven't been invented yet. His mind would have been a good one to save in another body.

Sorry marg. On this Threadbarer and I agree.

Your decent common man had nothing remotely close to share with this um, individual. As lauded as he may be.

He had some rather provocative and outlandish vitriol, er um views on the American people.

Particularly our servicemen and women.

I have some inside info on the Things old Henry did when he visited China, which was fairly often. I know a lot of people in China.
I've been told by reliable sources there that he had several organ transplants in China using the needed organs taken from CCP fresh kills exclusively for Kissinger to benefit from.
