We stopped winning wars because the MIC made continued war profitable.

What would they be though if they weren't bolstered by the men and women who are erroneously encouraged to believe that they are "serving" their country? You serve the MIC and continue to do so right here on these boards. They getting real fat off the back of you beying for the blood of Palestinians. What a good little servant you are.

I mean let's be honest, when has the US ever been involved in a conflict that was actually about self-defence? Where the military were in any way serving the interests of the US citizenry who pay their wages?

I'm dredging my brain but nothings coming to me, you got anything?

Poll: Most Israelis, Palestinians support 2-state solution

Hebrew University study shows many on both sides eager to achieve peace, but wary of opposing party’s true aim

A majority of both Israelis and Palestinians support a peace agreement based on the two-state solution formula, a Hebrew University poll found, though many respondents reported that they were skeptical as to the sustainability of such an agreement in the long term.

The study, conducted jointly by the Harry S. Truman Research Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research in Ramallah, found that 63 percent of Israelis and 53% of Palestinians support the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, the university said in a statement Tuesday.

prior to the bombings? Are you aware of why the bombings started after October 7th? Do you know that some people did some things?

People are always doing things, who done what exactly? The beheaded babies story fell apart. Hamas did not look ready for that party, so the IDF filled in that gap with its choppers. People did get shot. How many hostages got blown up with the indiscriminate bombing since?

I stand for the facts and each case on its own merits. Gaza has a lot of problems. The current approach is just adding more fuel to the fires of hate.

Oh, sorry.

Didn't realize you wanted Israel to surrender and allow bombings of their civilian populations.

I wasn't AWARE that you were cool with palestinians going into Israel and raping, torturing and killing over 1400 people!

My bad.

I'm not, that's just in your head. And when you wrote it it became a strawman.

Spare me.

When we fought Germany, civilians got killed.

I don't blame the allies, I blame the Nazi's.

Yeah, THIS is the elephant in the room.

In 1945, there weren't "Nazis and Germans". Just as today, there are not "Palestinians and Hamas".

There have never been clear lines of separation between civilian populations and their armed forces since at least the dawn of modern nations in the 19th century or so.

Where ideologies exist that support the use of armed force to "solve" conflicts with other countries, the people ARE involved. Not everyone is involved to the same extent, but it is absurd when people assert the civilian populations are somehow "separate" from the combatants. They are not. The smart or lucky ones get the Hell out the way when the battlefield comes to them. Not everyone is smart or lucky; not now, and not in previous wars.

And arguments supporting the invalid notion that the civilians are magically separate from the wars of their governments are nothing but efforts at distraction.

Cheers

No, it's the elephant in the room DCCowboy made up.

Though a few civilians did get killed, the US focused on military targets during WWII.

The few times, mass bombings happened the US came under heavy criticism for it.
Our goal was never to kill all the Germans and we never did.

We never did they type of bombing Israel is doing!

It was the Nazis who believe entire civilian populations needed to be wiped out for safety.

You are very ill informed or full of it.
Look up Dresden.
Israel never indiscriminately attacked any civilians and you can’t prove it.

We may NEVER know how many civilians have died in Gaza. The Pal's will inflate the number and Israel may downplay it.

Did you know the number of German military casualties in World War II is still undetermined ?

Nature of war.

Nature of war is also that civilians get caught up in it. Especially when cowards use them as human shields.

That’s a lot of words.

I agree with you. I’m sorry you were wrong.

The only thing I was wrong about in this thread, is the fact that I thought you would read the opposing articles and links others and I have provided to you for your enrichment and knowledge.

Instead, you just parrot what you hear on the news....again, your words.

They say ignorance is bliss, is that true?

READ HERE

Russian hostage escaped for four days and then the Palestinians captured him and turned him over to Hamas. They didn't help him. They didn't hide him. They turned him over to Hamas. The Palestinians support Hamas.

How come when a few Palestinians do something it's "the Palestinians"

When someone from Israel does something - like murder a six year old child with a knife - it's not "Israel"

So you ignore the point, guy escapes captivity... gets captured by "normal" palestinians, they promptly turn him over to hamas.

Again Not exactly a ringing endorsement for it just beings some bad apples.

How come it's Israel intent on genocide of all Palestinians, but not when genocide of Jews and the destruction of the state of Israel is Hamas' sworn intent?

It's an uncomfortable truth that too many are supporting a population that desire the elimination of all Jews and the Jewish state.
