wasn't there a prophecy about a two-moon pope (John Paul I) followed by one or two more popes and then an anti-pope?

troubling trend in the church today (not just the Catholic) of theologians and pastors thinking they have to alter doctrine to suit trend-of-the-week (gays, fornication).

Wake me up when the pope goes to Mecca and tries to convert Muslims to Catholics. That would be something to watch! Until that day, as far as I'm concerned, the Vatican and pope are just doing whatever they can to hang onto power and money. If Xi and Putin are paying any attention to them, it's because they're politically useful in some way.

Well, technically every Christian on Earth should believe that the Popes are infallible, even if they are not Catholic. Technically, they should believe that they truly know the Word of God and act out His will. I'll explain why this is.

It is the Catholic church and the Catholic popes that ruled Christianity for centuries. And before that, before the split into Catholic and Orthodox, all the popes before that also must have been infallible. They made all the laws, the Popes wrote and re-wrote the Bible, decided what books to keep and what texts to add in, what was ok and what was not ok, because they talk to God directly and know His will.

Even the smaller Christian denominations today, off-shoots and breakaway Christian religions still all use the basic Bible these popes have edited over the centuries, the books they chose will be read.

If any of those popes were fallible, the Bibles we use today are also wrong then.

2nd Thessalonians Ch2 is all about the "man of sin". Really, read the chapter and break it down...

Paul specifies this entity starts in his day, would rise up at the fall of Rome( what he told them when he was with them)
and that this man of sin would be destroyed at the 2nd coming of Christ.

what i added in there is from the early church fathers. Paul, while imprisoned in rome could NOT state in the letter that rome would fall... Nero would have had his head immediately as that would be treason. Paul states pretty planely that he told the thessalonians what was holding the man of sin back... and all the early christians reported on what this was... it was the roman empire.

paul also said "the man of sin" = The antichrist = The little horn of daniel 7. All these names point to the same entity which started at the apostles time, rose up at the fall of rome and would be destroyed at the 2nd coming. Adding in some tidbits from daniel 7, we also see its a ruling power for a bit, it persecutes Gods people, and blasphemes God.

This is none other than the Office of pope!!!!!

this is a FALSE position of power one man holds and is passed down... it started in the time of the apostles with simon magus petr (not the apostle peter) who went to Rome in 45AD and created the universal church which was a mixture of all the pagan religions but favored the Babylonian religion (reason why the pope wears the robes of dagon). this fake religious position rose to power at the fall of rome, killed off almost all other christians(to the tune of 500 million) and continued down to our day an age.
It all stems from a misinterpretation of Mathew 16 where christ was calling himself "the Rock" the church would be built on. The catholic church takes this power from christ and gives it to peter...

This misinterpretation called the succession of st. peter, gives the pope the "divine right" to be king over all the earth...which is why Catholics in the USA which we call the UNIPARTY are subverting the constitution so as to set the pope back up as king over all the earth. My head priest used to talk about this back in the 80's when i was an alter boy. According to him, catholics would take over the 3 branches of government... and when that was to happen, the usa would be made catholic and protestants would be destroyed.
anyone can watch catholic media... ive seen a few clips here and there that back this up. Think about the last 3 years... Catholic pence used trump to nominate 100's of catholic judges. The democrats steal 2020 (pelocy, schumer, nadler, all catholic) and catholic judges now refuse to hear any election fraud cases and they install catholic biden as president....
all 3 branches are now ran by catholic majorities and they are running the boarder with illegals from catholic countries and will make them citizens to make sure they have a permanent majority. this illegal flood will also bankrupt the country, destroying it.

once destroyed, they can use their new majority to remake the country just I heard as an alter boy. Remember, The pope supposedly holds the "keys to heaven". HE CAN DEMAND Catholics vote a certain way or forfeit heaven. During the dark ages, if a king didnt toe the line, he was excommunicated along with his entire kingdom... Nobody from his kingdom would be allowed into heaven as long as the king is left alive.... for a people living in the darkness of ignorance without the light of the bible, there was no power as absolute as the power of being the pope.

on a side note, feudalism was what everyone lived under during the dark ages. This was basically socialism/communism before they were invented. this is why the pope loves communism.

if you study Catholic "common Good" you will understand whats going on in liberal areas with theft. Its not a sin to steal when your poor.... So if you look at how Gavin (who also is catholic ) is running california, you will see, he along with other catholic democrats, they are already implimenting Catholic social teachings.... which is destroying our country and turning it into a 3rd world hell hole.

This is incorrect. The Bible canon was closed and sealed with the last apostle John and his letters to the Christian congregation. We have fragments and codex that date back to the 2nd century C. E. of the Christian Greek Scriptures.

The apostle Peter affirmed that the letters Paul wrote were already part of Scripture when he wrote his second letter to the Christians:

" Furthermore, consider the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you according to the wisdom given him, speaking about these things as he does in all his letters. However, some things in them are hard to understand, and these things the ignorant and unstable are twisting, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.-"2 Peter 3:15-16.

And part of the gifts of the holy spirit in the first century was the gift to discern inspired expressions.


"For to one is given speech of wisdom through the spirit, to another speech of knowledge according to the same spirit,  to another faith by the same spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one spirit,  to yet another operations of powerful works, to another prophesying, to another discernment of inspired expressions."-1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

This gift that certain among the first century congregation had helped to confirm whether a writing was to be part of the Holy Canon or not. It was completed with the last letter of John being written and the Bible canon then closed.

It is true that the Catholic Church mistranslated and even inserted spurious texts into the Bible over the centuries, one of the most glaring being 1 John 5:7-8 about God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit being one. But earlier Greek manuscripts that the Latin was copied from (and where the very obvious and very plain spurious text was added many many centuries later) do not have that addition, proving very easily the text to be spurious, and honest translators such as those of the New World Translation have removed it.

I think the Christian faith is one of the biggest tools used against mankind ever created. It's been proven time and time again that it's all made up bs, And yet the Bible's continue to get beaten by a lot of closed minded ignorant individuals.

Christians love to spew how Islam is such a volatile and controlling religion and yet it's not even half as bad as Christianity was in the Middle ages. Christianity is the most false of all religions because it changes it's colors to fit the times and never really stays true to anything so therefore it's a manipulation, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out.

Christians think that they have all the answers and know everything but have never ever read or learned anything outside of their own doctrine. Or at least never considered a legitimacy of or take serious any other religious institutions.

Not me, I'm not going to be indoctrinated by no religious dogma anymore of my life. All Christianity is is a big giant cult whether you want to admit it or not.

I was raised Catholic / Christian and when I came to the age of reason, about 8 years old for me, I realized "this is all bull**it" and never looked back..one of the best decisions of my life!

And the fact that you had to reach back to the Middle Ages to dis Christianity says something. Christianity has mostly evolved. Islam hasn't.

"Pope Francis" put out a paper saying that Catholic priests can now bless gay couples. This goes against Church doctrine. Anyone who isn't married and is having sexual relations is in a state of mortal sin. And marriage can only be between a man and a woman according to the bible. So "Pope Francis" has basically said the Catholic church can bless that which God says is a sin. Theologically speaking, this is demonic.

You don't need anyone else to speak to Jesus Christ, He want's a personal relationship with those that follow Him.
Do you really want these entities to play intermediary to Jesus Christ?

They do have the discretionary power to withhold the Church's help.
