The guys hands don't appear to be handcuffed during the actual chokehold and human nature would dictate he would be pulling and grabbing at the object
cutting off his air supply and hindrance of movement. It doesn't make sense that he could in any way, shape or form keep his hands in a secured
looking position while being aggressively restrained. No sense whatsoever. So why the choke hold in the first place since he seems to be able to
secure himself so well.
At the same time his face is clearly showing signs of lack of oxygen. But why are his legs sliding back and forth in scissor fashion? If he were
convulsing they would be shaking? Lack of bladder and bowels? I don't know much about that though.
I did see in some articles that he suffered head injuries but it appears he was laid down fairly gently and even his baseball cap was barely jarred
from it's position.
Also this wasn't a surprise arrest. Undercover officers were sent to arrest him. How they knew he was at that mall at that time isn't disclosed but
they were prepared to meet and arrest him.
A young father suffered a seizure after an undercover policeman put him in a chokehold in the middle of a busy Melbourne shopping centre.
Dramatic footage captured at Dandenong Plaza, in the city's south, shows the 19-year-old in a chokehold from a male officer while a female officer
stood to the side about 11am on Tuesday. It's understood the teenager was sharing a meal with his partner and 19-month-old baby when officers
approached.
Victoria Police attended Dandenong Plaza in Melbourne's south east around 11am on November 21 to arrest the 19-year-old man "as part of an ongoing
investigation".
And who's filming the footage for 7News? Clearly not the gal in pink with the mobile, video taping the incident as well. Here's another video that
shows the initial confrontation in what appears to be a food court, to give a little better context.
The comments regarding the event are mixed. Pro and con of the police as well as the assumed perpetrator who the story claims has several accusations
of criminal activity.
Victoria Police confirmed the 19-year-old had been charged following his arrest by Fawkner Police on Tuesday in relation to a number of ongoing
investigations.
He has been charged with 12 offences and was expected to front Broadmeadows Magistrates’ court on Wednesday in relation to trespass and attempted
theft of motor vehicle in Balwyn North on July 2 and burglary, trespass and theft in Reservoir on October 17.
He would also face a charge of theft of motor vehicle, trespass and theft in Malvern on October 17 and theft on October 29 in Prahran
Further charges were expected in relation to a number of other alleged burglaries and thefts across Melbourne.
There's anger at the police for how they handled the arrest and anger against the young man for the supposed crimes. People are tired of getting the
shaft, it doesn't matter who's shoving it.
