For the GOP-led Jan 6th committee to investigate...

As the Democrat-led January 6th committee wrapped up its investigation in 2022, the Chairman, Rep. Bennie Thompson, told reporters there was insufficient evidence against former President Trump, to warrant him being referred to the DOJ for criminal investigation. (Capitol Police and main FBI investigators came to this same conclusion.)

HOWEVER, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger went ballistic 2 hours after his statement, telling reporters that Chairman Thompson didn't know what he was talking about.

Soon afterwards, Donald J. Trump was referred to the DOJ, Biden-Garland assigned Prosecutor Jack Smith, and former President Trump was indicted/arrested!

U.S. Senator Mike Lee is asking questions about the contents of some of the early video footage released of 1/6/2021.

The U.S. Media would ignore him if he were questioning Covid spending, or illegal immigrant policies, or even Biden's mental ability. But ask about Democrats using 1/6/2021 as part of their 2020 election steal grand plan, and....

House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner (R-Ohio) praised newly elected Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) for releasing the Capitol footage from the Jan. 6 riot, calling the move an “important” step toward exposing the truth.

In an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Turner suggested the American people were only reading biased accounts of the attack on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, an echo of a frequent argument in favor of releasing the tapes.

“It’s important for Americans to know the truth. This has been fraught with an unbelievable amount of misinformation and untruths,” Turner said, when asked whether it was responsible for Johnson to release the footage, despite stated concerns from the Capitol Police about jeopardizing the security of the complex.

New Video/Audio analysis from a segment of Jan 6, 2021 footage...

The use of tear gas and its effects on both the crowd and law enforcement officers are depicted clearly, with the footage revealing chaos and tensions escalating quickly. (Trending: SNL Legend Unleashes On Democrats)

“Nothing is gonna help,” one officer said, as another added, “the wind is at us!”

“We’ve hit em’ with a-lot of pain compliance, but you’re hitting innocent people,” the officer went on.

“And not only that, we’re taking out one and ten of them are getting more angrier,” the other said.

“We’re multipling them by hitting em’.”

Additionally, a disturbing clip shows a Capitol Police officer pushing an elderly Trump supporter, further fueling anger among the protesters.

It is noted that House Speaker Mike Johnson has pledged to release all of the January 6 footage in the near future.

WHY the videos are being released in "waves"...

"We want to protect innocent people," Loudermilk said, expressing fear at what might happen if certain entities are able to identify the individuals who were at the Capitol. "We can use technology to blur out the faces of innocent people and still release the full videos.”

The Georgia Republican lambasted “insurrection hunters” who are “looking to go after” anyone who was at the Capitol on Jan. 6. He revealed that he was “falsely accused of giving reconnaissance tours of the Capitol” and characterized the accusation as “asinine.”

Loudermilk claimed, “The Select Committee on Jan. 6 doxxed the name and information of one of the people that just visited my office that day — did not even come to the Capitol on Jan. 6. No one who came to my office did — and he's already been fired from a job."

I don't know anything about this Congresswoman, but she is almost irrationally fearful that the videos Speaker Mike Johnson plans to release, will show "escape routes" and "security movements".

Maybe Speaker Johnson should clear the videos with her first, to find out what she wants blurred out? That will tell us who the government instigators are, and point out what they specifically did.

WASHINGTON (AP) — House Speaker Mike Johnson said Friday he plans to publicly release thousands of hours of footage from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, making good on a promise he made to far-right members of his party when he was campaigning for the job.

“This decision will provide millions of Americans, criminal defendants, public interest organizations, and the media an ability to see for themselves what happened that day, rather than having to rely upon the interpretation of a small group of government officials,” Johnson said in a statement.

The newly elected speaker said the first tranche of security footage, around 90 hours, will be released on a public committee website Friday, with the rest of the more than 40,000 hours expected to be posted over the next several months. In the meantime, a public viewing room will also be set up in the Capitol for viewing the footage.
