Same here, kind of. I have an older Ram 1500. It's only used to get lumber, straw/hay, and the occasional pallet of feed.

What's important now is to find solutions and not target activists who actually care about the Earth, saavy?

Trio of Sentinel satellites map methane super-emitters article below.

Because of its short lifetime, if methane emissions were cut today, atmospheric levels would drop off quickly. In a recent UN Environment Programme report on methane that Naik coauthored, researchers estimated that cutting methane emissions 45% today could reduce warming 0.28 ˚C by midcentury—keeping the world under the target of less than 1.5 ˚C of warming over preindustrial levels, as defined by the Paris agreement.

I'm on 5 acres in the Mojave High Desert.

Surprisingly, there is quite a bit of land maintenance. Mostly use mine for dump runs.

But, also, it's an area for natural crafters if I need to transport artwork.

I'm not certain the extremists you call activists are really concerned about more than virtue signaling.

Lots and lots of big coal pluming out of China, and gas in eastern Europe. What do we do about that? What can be done about that? Why aren't the activists focusing their efforts there?

I know, it sounds logical but then if we look deeper we are throwing into a nuclear reactor (the sun) radioactive material so are we hoping because the sun is so big that the little we put into that reactor won't affect it in any way? Isn't this the problem humans have always had with that way of thinking?

There have been and still are protests going on there even after two protesters were killed by police and police willingness to squash dissent. China is not a democracy, remember that.

They have lots and lots of embassies in democracies. There were lots of protests at the embassies over the Uyghurs. I would think China's contribution to global emissions has an impact on a great many more people. Just sayin'

You are probably right, but my point was that the super rich and their over consumption of pollution causing resources and investments to keep China up and running as business as usual is a problem that should be acknowledged.

The following is my opinion as a member participating in this discussion.

We know that answer. You get what you tolerate.

Well one of my family members works in a nuclear plant and he says this is the best energy option for humanity. If only we can figure out what to do with the radioactive waste we can turn this climate change around.

Thats why I mentioned rocket same into the sun. I read that decades ago but rockets were too costly. Could be different today.
