IL Rep. Sean Casten evacuated from DNC HQ during unruly Gaza ceasefire protest, 150 arrested

Illinois Rep. Sean Casten was one of the members of Congress evacuated from the Democratic National Committee headquarters in Washington D.C. amid a protest calling for ceasefire in Gaza.

Casten posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the protesters "blocked all modes of ingress and egress," and that he and other members inside were evacuated by armed Capitol Police.

Under the biden administration of terrorist butt kissers the pro hamas protestors are becoming emboldened, this is going to escalate if nothing is done to stop the growing support for terrorist in the US.

Yes all the Anti Semites have shown themselves to the populace. Now we know who needs to be banned from ever holding public office again.

The card of anti-semitism has failed. Cannot bebe played anymore. Just to let you know.

Hmmm

The anti-semitic card has failed again and again.

I am the majority who are sane back a ceasefire just as the poll shows.

Sane to support a ceasefire without release of hostages? Very antisemitic and uncaring for the Americans who are also hostages.

Sorry you lose this argument.

The liberal left is clearly spouting the same type of rhetoric that the Germans were in WWII. That is out for the entire US to see. www.npr.org...

Two-thirds of Americans say the United States should publicly support Israel in the war between Israel and Hamas, according to the latest NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll,

Unless you think the Germans in WWII weren't antisemetic? At this point you probably do.

Nobody has argued against the release of hostages. But a ceasefire won't friend entirely on this. It is used as an excuse to justify the continuation of the atrocities against the civilian population.

Liberals are not arguing FOR a release of hostages, they are only arguing for a ceasefire, hostages be damned.

You are right a cease fire will most likely encourage a continuation of Hamas killing babies, raping women, and burning people alive. After all that is what started all of this.

As for the term antisemitism being worn out.

Let's see, Hillary 9 years ago began "conservative actual voters who did not support for her for President", are racists, sexists, homophobes and deplorable. Liberals have added with glee that every voter who voted for Trump is a Nazi and Biden called them semi-fascist. Lately they have chimed in with transphobic. These ists/isms have been going on with vigor and extreme hatred added to the mix for nearly 9 years now. So the antisemitism charge, has at a minimum 8 more years of life as a meme to describe liberals. (BTW compare these accusations to the awful "snowflake" as most liberals bring up, that is childs play compared to Nazi fascist.) Now, really, you object to a real characterization that has the real behavior of hundreds if not thousands of protesting liberals behind it, along with members of Congress?

By the way:

What do you call a political party whose leader called for the "reeducation" (chinese style) for those who voted but did not vote for their party? This is what the DNC chairman did and other prominent Democrats chimed in with hearty agreement. (link in my first reply in the thread)

What do you call a political party who ignores and pretend doesn't exist Hamas killing babies, raping, and burning people alive and imply it is justified behavior because they are oppressed?

What about a political party that supports the oppressed burning US cities, looting US cities, destroying US businesses, and setting an apartment building on fire with families inside? This is what BLM did that was voted by the DNC to be supported by the Democratic Party before the riots.

What about liberal students on a liberal campus banging on the door to get into a library where Jewish students had hidden in terror from the pro-Hamas liberal protestors? Krystalnacht in the US led by liberal students on a liberal campus?

What about a political party that encourages violence in US cities to "end injustice". www.msn.com...

Isn't this quite similar in tone to what the Germans actually did in WWII? Condone and engage in violence against Jews and people who did not support their political party? And yet Democrats constantly and consistently say conservatives are Nazi's and fascists. Hmmmm.

Is it a case of what one is guilty of they accuse others of in order to deflect what they are actually engaging in openly and with vigor. Rioting now in DC and tearing up a city with violence because that is justified and perfectly acceptable behavior if you support the oppressed.

I believe it was Karl Marx who put forth the idea that violence and killing innocents is necessary to end oppression. Sound familiar? It does to me.

Your post about liberals, Marxism, the BLM, and the rest...is quite irrelevant with the topic of this thread.

The anti-semitic card has failed again and again. The holocaust denier card has failed again and again. You shouldn't be circulating the same debunked arguments.

From the OP

We call on President Biden to urgently demand a cease-fire; and to call for de-escalation of the current conflict by securing the immediate release of the Israeli hostages and arbitrarily detained Palestinians; the restoration of water, fuel, electricity and other basic services; and the passage of adequate humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip,” the letter says.

It's clear that hundreds of Officials argue precisely what the majority of Americans have argued so far i.e a ceasefire.

www.reuters.com...

US public support for Israel drops; majority backs a ceasefire, Reuters/Ipsos shows

You have been unable so far to address the issue because it seems that American voters and American Officials are against this war.

It's that simple

The Biden Administration is in real trouble as s large number of officials either in the State Department or in every other agency have pointed out that the unequivocal support of Israel is a huge mistake and must be abandoned.

Well that is what you believe.

However the behavior, actions and words of liberal leftists negate your assertion.

Actions speak far louder than words.

I noticed you did not answer even one question I asked, because you can't without admitting antisemitism is rampant in the liberal left political group.

The card of anti-semitism has failed. Cannot bebe played anymore. Just to let you know.

I believe you remember Josh Paul, a Senior State Department Official who resigned after saying that we shouldn't arm foreign countries that slaughter civilians with American arms.

not really 500 is barely noticeable, when a new president is elected its something like 40k people that need to be appointed.

Question though, Just who is Israel supposed to negotiate a cease fire with?

Hamas is the elected govt of gaza, the same group that has sworn to wipe Israel off the map... is that who they are supposed to negotiate with?

Plo has no power in gaza...

egypt and jordan dont care as long as the palestinians stay out.

so that leaves the people that want all the jews dead, what reason should israel negotiate?

There is no requirement or expectation that the entire State Department and all other agencies will oppose Biden's Policy on Israel. Many will do and will be silent. But the number of those who make noise is very noticeable contrary to your claim. So noticeable they even the MSM made it a worthy piece of news.

Eat that propaganda, the numbers don't lie and 500 isn't a lot, and doesn't mean there are hordes of silent people it just means 500.

I'll ask again who is Israel supposed to negotiate with? Can't have a cease fire without negotiation.

It would be nice if American politicians kept their noses in Lady Liberties butt and then know that was going too far as she's the gate way to the "Americas" North, South and Hi!!! from the Middle...

Why in hers? What France says as liberated women's rights goes and the large population of those disagreeing so that we the people can stay free and equal.

Thank you Bon Nuit!

I know you're trying to downplay the entire situation but when hundreds of officials asking the President to change its policy over Israel then that's really damning evidence there is something very wrong going on.

As I said earlier, there is no requirement or expectation that the entire State Department and all other agencies will oppose Biden's Policy on Israel. Many will do and will be silent. Your claim that the number of officials who signed the letter is small, is just baseless and random.

It shows precisely what many US Officials think about the war in Gaza. Another damning piece of evidence against our failed policy in the middle east that has United the Muslim World not only against Israel but against the US too.

The war is simply wrong and must end asap. Innocent civilians cannot be slaughtered in the name of peace and freedom. Everyone knows it.

I wonder when the world is going to connect Muslims as just being; A large branch of Hinduism known for worshiping Rama? With their major holiday known as Ramadan... One would think that would have been apparent.

Please remember that George Soros has paid millions of dollars to these groups for several years into the lead up into the event. I know it can sound like a broken record, but the money is coming from a former collaborator from WWII.

Ramadan is just an Arabic word, even though it sounds like Rama, it is not even close to Hinduism. On the other hand, Brahma/Visnu/Shiva are the Hindu names for the Trinity.
