I don't understand why people feel the need to pick a side and support one side.
Because some times you've got to draw a line in the sand and decide which side you are on.
Ah, the old line in the sand adage.
One side of the line is Armageddon, and the other side is so sorry we couldn't all just get along somehow, and give another chance for peace before letting the world devolve into destroying itself.

So here we are. Israel was attacked. What should they have done? The floor is your sir or maam.

The Ironic aspect is those at the front of feminism/wokism pushed for shifting the demographics of Western Countries, now that they have played their hand in Gaza it seems they have regret over their social engineering.
The push to fight the supply never meeting the demand white supremacist.
DEI.
Young people being taught America is racist, colonizers etc.
whatever.
Here we are.
Looks like someone made a giant turd sammich and its time to take a bite.
A very wise member once said, "Debates are about ideas, arguments are about people". I agree. We're now arguing. Am I going to stop?
Debates are conducted using logically formulated arguments, and an impartial referee is present to make sure objections to logical fallacies are ruled upon. A panel of impartial judges the debate and decides which side wins.

I don't understand why people feel the need to pick a side and support one side. Shouldn't all human life be a side?
What both Hamas and Israel are doing are war crimes. The Hamas attack was absolute horror, carnage, mayhem and acts that we have not seen in a long time. They killed 1,200 people in one day, foreigners included. Massacred them.
But since then over 13,000 civilians have been erased also. Vaporized, dismembered... cleansed.
It's ok to say both those things are wrong. One doesn't have to pick a side. Unless that's how your brain works.

I’m kind of like I fight the battles in front of me. Calling out a fellow mate when he is doing someone wrong and the like. I can personally only have hope of making positive changes to those within my sphere of influence. Outside of that I am powerless.

I feel bad for anyone who dies in a stupid war. But I do have to ask, how many of those 13,000 were the HAMAS folks the IDF went in to kill?
And are you aware of how HAMAS fights?
I've been waiting for someone with integrity to answer what Israel should have done. So far, not a sausage.
If only everyone realized that in order to have a discussion/conversation/argument/debate, you have to explain your position and defend it, or you are forced to re-examine it and discover why you had that moral fart.

From the topic post:

This, I disagree with, and is untrue, respectfully.
Debates are conducted using logically formulated arguments, and an impartial referee is present to make sure objections to logical fallacies are ruled upon. A panel of impartial judges the debate and decides which side wins.
Do you need a link for more?
Now since what you are doing here is not arguing, but implied you are going after people, that tactic in debate would immediately raise objections against ad hominem attacks.

Israel definitely should not have carpet bombed with precision guided explosives the Innocent people of Palestine. There were Innocent people there. And the bombs killed them. And the terrorists survive underground.
Israel should definitely stop this campaign of death. and genocide.
