Do you care to understand as to whom controls what leading to the invasion of Israel. Oh we cant talk about that or go there. The Israel response sucks but to take a ideological position such as yours leads to the root cause of stuff ike this.

My ideological position precludes any political position I have. I do not condone violence in any form. I would like for the bombs to stop falling on Gaza.

How can my non-violent, peaceful, anti-war ideology compare to the radical islamic militant ideology, or the zionist ideology that the Jews currently occupying Israel are descendents of God's chosen people, and can commit atrocities with impunity?

Was it one of peace? That doesn't sound at all like peace. That sounds exactly like a provocation to fight a war.

Now I am as anti war as it gets. I hate it. I have seen it up close, I have smelled it, tasted it, and want no part of it. But I totally understand making sure the guy who sucker punched you and giggled, cannot ever do that again.

If this conflict turns into a more global war, which it certainly has the potential.

Your thinking is DOA along with your denial of what the Palestines have done for decades against other Arab countries. It has never worked and talk is cheap and always has been. Just look at all the hate against this one race throughout the world. So were they all affected in some way as a hate crime. I think not. many are just veing fashionable. I used to buy into the let there be love and peace 60s kinda thoughts .... But....Nature says otherwise, with every creature on the planet fighting for territory or breeding rights; until there is a victor the fighting continues.

We as a species supposedly can reason yet with the two main religions at each others throats continually I do not see much reasoning going on...So regardless of our touchy feely thoughts it would seem people do not need much of a reason to go about with hate and murder in their hearts. Call it just the natural way things are for some...

What both Hamas and Israel are doing are war crimes. The Hamas attack was absolute horror, carnage, mayhem and acts that we have not seen in a long time. They killed 1,200 people in one day, foreigners included. Massacred them.

But since then over 13,000 civilians have been erased also. Vaporized, dismembered... cleansed.

It's ok to say both those things are wrong. One doesn't have to pick a side. Unless that's how your brain works.

I enlisted in 1981. I finally got out in 2013.

I was no hero, no warrior, but I saw enough to leave a real bad taste in my mouth.

I have no respect for those that cry for war but will never wear a uniform.

I’m kind of like I fight the battles in front of me. Calling out a fellow mate when he is doing someone wrong and the like. I can personally only have hope of making positive changes to those within my sphere of influence. Outside of that I am powerless.
