Because it's not about stopping Hamas, it's about wiping out Gaza and any semblance of community in the region. It's to break the Palestinians and justify war. Look at all the money Biden is in the process of sending Israel, over $14 billion dollars all while Israel has been on the offensive for a month now. What does Israel need that money for?
War is profitable.

In the debates about UN resolution 273 in 1949 about Israel's admittance to the UN, Israel's UN representative Abba Eban promised that the state would honor its obligations under resolution 181 and Resolution 194. El Salvador's representative asked:[1][incomplete short citation]
I wish to ask the representative of Israel whether he is authorized by his Government to assure the Committee that the State of Israel will do everything in its power to co-operate with the United Nations in order to put into effect (a) the General Assembly resolution of 29 November 1947 on the internationalization of the City of Jerusalem and the surrounding area [resolution 181] and (b) the General Assembly resolution of 11 December 1948 on the repatriation of the refugees [resolution 194].

NPR lives in Qatar as well?
Shots fired at the first source, meanwhile the second stands tall to slap you in the face. This is brilliant! I must be gifted or something, how does this keep happening?

That is the latest in number of condemnations against the Israeli Government and Army by politicians, officials, lawyers, etc.
A few days ago the Deputy PM of Belgium argued that sanctions are needed against Israel.
We all know that Israel is committing war crimes and has lost the communication war already. They wanted to control social media and try to push a narrative but this hasn't happened. If it wasn't for the MSM that made everything possible so to present the situation in Gaza as it is, the war would have stopped long time ago due to the public's reaction.
Those who committed war crimes must be held accountable. It seems there is an expectation by some officials in the US and elsewhere that they won't but that's a false expectation. Whoever commits crimes pays heavy price at the end either it's Hamas or IDF.
Hamas’ Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was meticulously planned. The launch date was conditioned by two triggering factors.
First was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu flaunting his ‘New Middle East’ map at the UN General Assembly in September, in which he completely erased Palestine and made a mockery of every single UN resolution on the subject.
Second are the serial provocations at the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, including the straw that broke the camel’s back: two days before Al-Aqsa Flood, on 5 October, at least 800 Israeli settlers launched an assault around the mosque, beating pilgrims, destroying Palestinian shops, all under the observation of Israeli security forces.
Everyone with a functioning brain knows Al-Aqsa is a definitive red line, not just for Palestinians, but for the entire Arab and Muslim worlds.dissidentvoice.org...

What power/means do civilians have to not be human shields. Everyone with a weapon is Hamas...the rest are hostages basically. When is its ok to kill the hostages to get to the hostage takers...I know...its when you want to take the land and kill off the people who live on it. Who put Hamas in power anyway...

They live in Qatar. A muslim country. Does Israel have people who can speak the language, blend in, get close enough, skills enough to assassinate them, and get out? I don't know. Do you.

You might also want to consider the "March of Return".
Why act all surprised when you shoot kids, journalists and medics during a peaceful protest? Have we all collectively forgot about the inconvenient parts of history before the 7th or have we simply lost our minds?
