But better don't because with modern capabilities they don't work anymore.
A lot of UFO peeps have wondered at some point in time of how the evolution shapes we see has happened.
And the obvious answer is: because our technological capabilities have increased.
Imagine a very assymetrical relationship, where one knows everything including the thoughts & dreams of the other and the other doesn't even know there is any other intelligence besides themselves in the universe (I prefer multiverse, but matter of taste at this point).

Religion is crap, not going to argue about that, however it is record and history of how long humans have interacted with that (or many) intelligences.
I don't know how familiar you are with your own mind?
Have you ever observed it without trying to influence it? Are you even aware that most of the time when you meditate or do any of our esoteric and spiritual practices you apply force to your mind.
The only time your mind is free is when your attention is elsewhere and you just let it run in the background without paying attention what you actually think or do, you just 'enjoy' or not so much or whatever feeling comes with it.
Our human culture was for a very long time a strife for more leisure.
Alas some circles have lived that luxurious life of following your own thoughts and realised: that is not just me.
The occult secret: no matter how hard you try you are never alone.
And if you think youu are, you are in denial.

Denial is also a very powerful tool of control. You shy away from whatever is associated with it, to a point where you go to extreme lengths to keep that lie up that protects your feelings.
That was done on purpose. There is also nothing particularly malicious about it, people most of the time think they are 'right' or doing 'a good thing' those that enjoy being evil genuinely are very rare.
But the effects of 'good deeds' are not always contributing to a person's general happiness and well-being.
Both to those receiving them and handing them out.

This is also not really about humans, I think I drifted a little, but I'll leave it for context.
In our mind is another (as in not your own) intelligences testing us.
I've been trying to find a better frame work for it than religion, but alien and demons and gnomes don't really overcome the natural xenophobia reflex such a statement brings with itself in those not 'into it'.
The thing is that what I said above:
Imagine a very assymetrical relationship, where one knows everything including the thoughts & dreams of the other and the other doesn't even know there is any other intelligence besides themselves in the universe
is how it is. We don't call the shots around here.
We get tested, sorted and sent on to the next level or recycled.

So nobody is asking anybody to fall on their knees, but peeps please: watch your thoughts.
Nothing on here is sufficiently serious or important to sacrifice your soul to hate.

Let me object to you, my friend.

Here in Russia in the 90s, when everything was terrible in Russia, the movie “Muslim” was released. The plot is based on the fact that a former captive of the Taliban, a Russian soldier, who was forced to convert to Islam in captivity and lived for 10 years in Afghanistan, returned home to a village in Russia. Then in Russia, “thanks” to Western influence, there was complete drunkenness and degeneration. And now the hero, who converted to Russian Islam, having pulled out a woman from a noose who wanted to hang herself because of hopelessness, says beautiful words to people:

“If you don’t want to believe in Allah, don’t believe. If you don’t want to believe in Jesus, don’t believe. But know that then He (the Devil) will come and make you believe in him!”

Please think about these words.

Oh the horror when we realize it's not someone else but that we have so absolutely no clue about who we really are to the point of us appearing foreign to ourselves...

urrgh, always the fighting assumptions because people can't take my OPs for what they are:
In progress thought experiments.
I was speaking to you the audience. Not you the preacher.
So if you respond to me preaching I just roll my eyes.

Why don't you try again and share instead your thoughts on the actual contents like:
* we are being judged right now, even if we can't agree on who is doing the judging
* this is a test of character from those who are in 'The Judging Business' and it is entirely irrelevant who 'they' is
*you are the test subject, your reactions matter

Why so many unnecessary words?

I just wanted to say my opinion to make you think, and nothing more.

There is an "acceptance", a "belonging", as if it isn't a bad thing to be alive. Like it's okay.

From there, I think we judge ourselves as if there were someone watching, like a witness. Whether there is a witness, not part of our own psyche, who can tell?

Hate doesn't seem to be a naturally sustainable emotion or reaction. It must be fed by outside stimuli. Tinfoil hats can't stop us from seeing and hearing things pushed into our faces.

Edit to add: The "acceptance" doesn't come with a users manual.

It was not me who said this, but the entire history of mankind. It has always been so, and it will always be so.

I am not trying to convince you of 'there is no God'
I do believe in God personally too even if my definition is probably very different than almost everybody else's.

I was just making it more inclusive so we don't end up talking about: is there a God but the actual subject.

I enjoy being a fool. That might be a coping mechanism in the face of how the world is, but the question of acceptance doesn't even posit itself.
That seems one step further than it has to go. Learn, be true, have a great time, no expectations for any outcome just what is and only pursue it as long as it brings you forward in your story progression.

accepting something sounds to me like taking it in and making it a part of yourself. That is only reserved for the really heavy meaning good things to me.

as if there were someone watching

That is actually not what I am saying. If you watch closely there is an intelligence that acts on your mind but is going beyond it.
There is something like a Noosphere the heavy 'information processing' side of the universe, ie our consciousness and then some.
And in it are independent but intertwined with us other intelligences.

Sure my approach might be heavily influenced from mythology, but the who is at this point really not so much the important question as pointing attention to the fact this is not a rare or random thing that is why most people don't notice, most of the time it blends in perfectly what you are doing and the synchronicities guide you towards a certain revelation.

The part of me thinking this is all a test, is because it doesn't initiate communication with most. Just a few and most of them never recover from the blown mind and the shattered worldview.
They are playing with us. Creating situations where you are faced with riddles that have no 'real' or 'good' outcome.
Like exploring how internal moral works? If it would just be study?
But it doesn't make sense really, ... because I guess it would imply we are just Universe 25 rats to some 'higher intelligence' I prefer to think it is for our benefit if we can do it right.

lol end this with wishful thinking, but that is how it is.
you can test it for yourseslf. observe yourself over like 3 weeks or so, how much of you is you?
can you even handle being on your own and still enough to get the opportunity to watch your own mind?

You know, I will answer you with a quote from a movie from the times of the USSR, the most atheistic state. Then such a film miraculously made it through the censorship. The film itself is a comedy. The hero steals cars from corrupt officials, sells them to crooks, and transfers the money to orphanages. The film is called "Beware of the Car." The hero steals another car and sells it to a pastor in the Baltics. When asked where the pastor got that kind of money, the pastor replies:

“I’m not asking you where you got a car without documents.
Some people believe that God exists. Other people believe that there is no God. Both are unprovable."

There is no need to prove the existence of God. It's irrational. You just have to accept it with your heart.

In progress thought experiments.

I like it. I think there is a big difference between what we ''figure'' and what we are told is true. What we are told is true somehow becomes ''truth'' while what we figure to be true takes a whole lot of time and experiment with some of that experimenting playing out into further experimenting. We can build these thought castles and either live in them for the rest of our lives or we can rebuild them or trade them in for better lodging, if that makes sense.

I guess I am, yes, maybe among other potential tracking methods.

How else would you know people’s thoughts, if not by scanning their brain waves?

Then again, you have also expressed your thoughts on this website, assuming there isn’t somebody else’s agenda behind your comments.

If you were that somebody, but never met yourself.

That's my spiritual approach to what FP is talking about. I don't think there is any omnipotent consciousness out there judging us.

The technical approach starts pretty much with the studies of biofeedback and just progressed into always greater resultion for brain mapping.

The two have very a distinct feeling to me. while one really seems foreign until you get to know yourself, the other always has this artificial detachment.

I think both are legit experiences, but sometimes hard to separate...

Sometimes I remember my dreams. Some times I don’t.

Do you record your lucid dreams?

Also, do you think your dreams are even projections from your own mind, or somebody else’s?

Personally, I feel like figuring out a math problem or something like that is a good way to watch your mind.

But lucid dreaming is something else, that’s the job of being able to sleep, pay attention, and remember, all at once. Often quite difficult, just to get some cryptic message.
