Time? God sake this is no small feat.....gimme chance i do have a life other than this!

I work on it mainly on weekends, in the week i am working, renovating my grandma's apartment etc, its not THE main priority
.

So im gunna say half a year to build the prototype, get a viable power source going, get a deal with a company for mass production etc.

I dunno, maybe thats a tad optimistic, OR, maybe i'll have done all this quicker! i cant see into the future can i?

Well im not sure about Bob Lazar, he seems kind of shady, there is of course the news story on the nuclear reactor the size of a palm top.

There is a thread on ats, i just cant find it.....gimme a sec.

Dude, you could put a satellite into orbit for pennies on the dollar with this thing. Why on earth make a hoverboard out of it?? By all means, sell it to General Dynamics and make a !@#$% fortune!

Well......yea.....if i built a huge model, that would perhaps have an unbelievable current, i could encase it in a tank of an extremely cold liquid.......and if i could extend the device to say........5 metres lond by 1 metre diameter..........(and some other things that are too detailed).......yea it could propel an object far enough into the atmosphere.

After that you could use normal engines or rockets to gain a stable orbit. You now, instead of the multi million dollar fuel they use right now that burn like gallons a second, which sucks. The device would most likely be able to be used again and again......until possibly some of the parts burn out.......we would be dealing with extreme voltages and temperatures so perhaps the electronics would have to be replaced....nothing even BY FAR on the scale of how much they are spending.

But this is only speculation as i havent got a working prototype! so quit boosting my ego! Nah im kidding.......ALL your constructive input is very welcome!!!

My biggest fear, as any inventor would be, is obviously me completing the tech, and it being stolen by the government (
or me being "rubbed out" by them), or a company exploiting it and taking credit for it.

sounds awesome e-mail me the plans and I can tell you If they are incomplete and I'm to young to do much anyway and you can check my profile to prove it
any way I'll delete them when I see them
anyway I think you should start an industrial high-tech gear buisness oh and send me 1 when you start selling them

Dont be daft
i cant email you the plans (although its a nice thought thanks
) but i have an idea that when i get its complete and selling i think i'd want to give everyone on the thread who has helped me while ive worked on it a SUBSTANTIAL discounts for them and their families coz am just that nice (i'd give you it free but there will most likely be legal problems with giving so many people free boards
)

And i really do appreciate the help, honestly.

What is what used for? im not sure what u mean

If you're referring to the help comment. Oh its just really appreciated, the critisisms even. I mean its helped me to realise what the public expects from me, things that have given me ideas for the direction i could take, other areas i could use this tech for when completed, things like that!

most of it has been very helpful......and once again....greatly appreciated!!!

I am still very interested in your work shadow, and I found a website that might help you. They have plans for hoverboards using magnetic repulsion, and also a "gravitron" that has an attatched gyroscope to keep it stable. The info here that you can buy, could be a good additiona to your current project.
www.amazing1.com...

Cheers,

Cheers. Yes i will look into stability control once complete. Of course it might be possible to balance yourself anyway......But information unlimited (amazing1.com) is exceptionally good pricing, considering the things they sell are very rare items.

Hey i am off on a road trip at the end of the week, from New York, all down the east coast and back up to New York and back home again (bout 12 days in all). Then once i get back i have more or less the whole summer free to work on the board. So its going to be full throttle work from then on. WOOHOO!

I like your idea to build them for skinny people. If fat people want one, they can just buy one for each foot.

O thats mean!
but nooo i said that the whole logistics (if thats the right word) of lifting a very large person is harder than lifting a small or skinny person.

There will most likely be a dial placed on the side of the board (i will make it embedded into the board, needing a screwdriver or something to turn it, so that it doesnt snap off when you may, and likely will fall off and crash the board etc.)

it will be some type of resistor that will restrict the flow of power, so that when you first get the board, you stand on it while someone else slowly turns the dial, and it will rise up to the desired height

I would really like to start a website.....so that i may SHOW you my work, progress, pics and eventually movies........RITO ile get to it later......aredt least itwould add at least some cred to what we've been talking about if you can see me working instead of hearing about me working.

just a small post of encouragement i'd buy one from you . ive been waiting for one to hit the market. hope it works out for you . just remember the balance factor and stopping.

It will feel just like being on ice. Hope when you have it designed you include a hand held remote of some sort to turn it down or off. Its nice to know that you have a way to stop when you need to. Keep up the work. We are all looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

so perhaps a glove you can wear......you clench your fist and it activates the board.

LOL i could make it look REALLY cool by having neons running down the side, (they will have an off switch, i mean for after dark riding or just to look cool
) these are obviously asthetic features that will be added post-completion.

Im doing some cad of the board......but its fairly obvious what it looks like....being a board......
