I can’t for the life of me find my original post, so I’ll summarize

I have a very dear friend, every single time I would go out with her I would get so ill.
I shook it off the first few times, but then it was undeniable. I would literally have to excuse myself and go to the restroom feeling
Like I was going to vomit or worse.
As soon as I would get home, perfectly fine.

I thought all kinds of weird things, witchcraft, was she really my friend..something else….

Well here’s an update. Just found out she is pretty sick…..the illness I was experiencing was mimicking it!
And now when I see her I don’t feel the illness anymore…which I also think is weird.

I wrote another post wondering if I may be psychic or intuitive, or empath…
Someone said I may be able to tune into energies and that is possible, or something else?
Maybe a little empath maybe something else?

I’ve mentioned many times before I’m a super smeller. Maybe I was a good dog in a past life or something, but my sense of smell is beyond what normal humans have. I’ve had this since I was born. It is the weirdest gift. I can 10000% smell things like Parkinson’s disease on people.
On the more pleasant side, I’m a great cook because I can isolate certain flavors. On the downside, most smells aren’t good. I could smell my moms cancer, and I also knew when she was close to death as her scent radically changed, it wasn’t a bad smell just very different.

I wonder if I was smelling my friends sickness as a warning signal or something…

You wouldn't be the first person with the ability to 'smell' illness in people. I think most of us possess this ability but see/smell serious illnesses on such rare occasions that we don't make the association, and when some do-such as nurses-they often don't realize it's an odor that tips them off to serious illness, attributing it to 'intuition' instead.

I was at a casino one time and a man sat down next to me, 100% Parkinson’s scent.. I realized my assumption was correct when his wife came over and started pushing the buttons for him.

Smell is the only constant data that doesn't pass the cognitive filters....

Yes meds do come out of the skin/sweat, but Parkinson's has a very distinct smell and I smelled it before my dad was diagnosed and we knew what he had.

I can also smell fear in sweat.. not to be gross but to me it smells like poop.

It’s interesting how much our body is affected by emotions, some things you wouldn’t expect.

I remember when I was married. After my ex and I would get into a heated argument, my first pee would be dark orange every time. I always wondered what made it do that.

Do you sweat profusely or tighten your muscles a lot when you argue?
Sound like uncle rhabdo and can be very dangerous. I learned of it when I did CrossFit.
When you exercise and strain muscles too much it can put you in rhabdomyolysis which affects your kidneys and then your urine, orange is bad and brown is bad!

I am a sweater, yes. Also yes, on the tightening of the muscles. Within a month of us splitting up, my body felt looser than it had in over a decade.

Thanks for the reply. Makes a ton of sense. So it’s my kidneys that are affected. 👍🏼

I know what you mean. My x brought the worst out of me in every way. I can say I was a different person with him, and I actually even looked different. I felt physically healthier when we split! I’m sure you know what I’m talking about!

I think your energy has connected to that person. For my whole life this happens to me also. I know how you feel. I am pretty sure you have a gift.

My money is on the smell. Maybe mixed with a bit of empathy?

My smeller is pretty good, like for finding nuances in whiskey or beer or food, but not that intense. A friend who liked to buy unusual drinks and give them to me gave me a French saison once and asked what I tasted in it. I smelled and sipped and said it had "a hint of stale urinal, but not in a bad way."

He told me I was crazy, took the glass, sipped it and said, "I'll be damned, you're right!"

My sense of smell is scary….
I can tell what soap people use, shampoo, deodorant, chapstick, (like down to actual brands and specific fragrances) if they have a cavity, if they wash their hair every day.
Unfortunately, I can smell when women are at the time of month, I can smell places that people have been. I can smell metal etc. I can smell everything everyone else can but just magnified so much…

My family is so annoyed by it because at home it’s my safe place and I don’t want any stinky smells. I’m not just talking what is traditionally bad smells, I mean most fragrances smell terrible to me. Even a lot of unscented products are actually scented.

I'm positive ALL humans have the 'gifts' but most know nothing of how to develop and use them, while others are convinced no such abilities exist.

I've meet a lot of people who use their 'gifts' on autopilot, with no idea they're using them. As with any tools, the more you use them the better you get.

Most people live life at a surface level, while some actually look for answers deep in our experiences. Jag is very tuned into herself, surroundings and nature so I'm not surprised at any of her revelations.

I agree with you! Most people cannot tune into their gift. Some people can! I was born with a gift and for most of my life it hurt me! Now I have learned how to tune it out.

In a second it can be controlled!
