Harvard University Holds Annual Sex Week

Harvard University, with a reputation for being one of the top schools in the country, maybe even THE top school, is holding it's annual SEX WEEK. A week of sex workshops for the kids that include lessons like 'Anal 101' and 'Sex Toys 101'. The families of these kids are paying $80,000 a year for them to go there and have these workshops available to them. Couple this with the recent disgusting anti-semitic behavior of the school students and faculty ... all I can say is that I'm glad I don't have a child going there. I have come to the conclusion that I don't think a Harvard 'education' is all that healthy for a young adult ... all things considered.

Why is it that the countries with the most open policies on sexual education have the Lowest sexual violence rates?

Until that trend doesn't change there is no argument against sexual liberation...

That is very interesting and is true, countries with open sexual orientation, have the least sexual problems, US is behind in the sexual revolution I guess, been behind for a while already.

I blame it to the standard social values and religion, sadly we have the worst sex trade including children, right now the open border is filling the country with unaccompanied children's that will be lost in the sex trade.

Only people with money can buy other human beings.

We have highest rate of rape, too many stupid sexual tabus and now the new trans fad that is the wrong way to push for sexual rights and liberties when children has become the target.

Adults have sex. Adults have questions about sex. And no one is forcing anyone to attend. If there are people who would like to attend, why does that bother YOU? Let people do and be whatever they want.

Is nothing wrong with learning about sex, hell everybody enjoy sex, or most of it, is about who is pushing these teachings and the agenda behind it.

And yes is underage children in college, darn i was only 17 when I started college in the US.

Sadly we do have age related sexual laws for underage children in many states is one age for consent and another one unrestricted consent.

Once US released those restrictions things will be a bit different

The "new morality" actually began in the 1920's after World War I. In any event has the "new morality," the "free love" movement, the "sexual liberation" lead to a better society? Generations of children born out of wedlock, without a mom and a dad to raise them, more aborted at the alter of feminism, a proliferation of STDS, emotional scars, physical scars. Communities in decay because of this "new morality," where every form of depravity is accepted. Streets full of violence by children who have not been guided by a loving mother and father, drug-addicted thieves and murderers.

And this is the result of your sexual liberation. There is no argument against it?

God's word brings happiness now, and life eternal in the future. Obey God and be blessed. Sex is sacred within the marriage arrangement between a man and a woman. An expression of endearing love that is to be kept and guarded and expected in the marriage bond. And wherein children are allowed to flourish and thrive by loving parents who love goodness and righteousness and inculcate it in their children.

This world is lost. It has been condemned long ago. And to not see the end results of man's reckless abandon of morality is beyond reprehensible.

The world is changing, is not doubt about it, human beings have evolved when it comes to morality and sexual issues.

Is nothing wrong with enjoying the company of others, is just that making it tabu creates a whole big issue, people react differently to each other depending on believes

Sex is an integral part of what we are and is important for mental wellbeing, is healthy.

Tabu and social moral standards makes it dirty and forbidden.

I never has been against sexual learnings, but I always feel should be a right time and the right time for it, tabus and believes excluded.

This is all voluntary, done with the parents' agreement. Hence, I don't see a problem. Just because some people with conservative views don't like it doesn't matter. They can bring up their children the way they want, without sending them to Harvard.

Now, if the parents were forced to send their children there, that would be a problem. Because it would violate the freedom of those who would wish to pass on to their children more traditional values.

Whether kids should be taught about anal sex, this is debatable. Still the parents know the curriculum. Perhaps, they prefer their children to learn about sex in the "controlled environment" rather than while browsing porn sites on the internet or talking to their friends.

First, it's student led, so this is something the students wanted to do.
Second, people have sex in college. It's always been a thing. Not much different than a frat or sorority party.
Lastly, these aren't kids. They're legal adults.

Agreed. Sex is a good thing it is not wrong. It is a gift from God. But Satan has perverted it and perverted humankind's view of it. Sometimes it may always not be apparent why God condemns something when he does. But it is always for our good. If it is bad in his eyes it is because it does us harm. Can you understand how sexual immorality harms human society? Can you see the wisdom in God's view of sex that it should be guarded strictly in a marriage between a husband and wife?

I ask those questions of you so you can reason on it logically. If you want a few answers here are some that comes to mind:

1. The prevention of STDs.
2. The emotional well-being of both mates. Sex is an extremely intimate act. And one or both parties may be emotionally harmed even scarred when they are just used as an object for selfish gratification.
3. No more abortions. If sex is only practiced in a marriage, and marriage is only between a man and a woman, and the man provides for his family, if they have a child the child will not be an orphan, and will not suffer.
4. Children who are raised in a family with both a father and a mother are more well-balanced, less prone to all types of evil. Less likely to do drugs, to be depressed, to be thieves, to commit acts of violence. Hence a more peaceful and healthy society at large.

I am sure there are more. If you reason things out logically and look at the world's view of sex and the extreme abuse and harm it has caused society, you have to come to the logical conclusion that God's view of sex and his boundaries placed on it in the Bible is really an act of love toward us.

1. Condoms prevent STDs too, and regular screening prevents knowingly transmitting them.
2. Regular sex has actually been shown to improve cognitive functioning and help with mood disorders and neuroticism.
3. Married people have abortions too, and condom use and contraceptives prevent pregnancy with over a 90% efficacy rate. The problem is people having unprotected sex. This event is doling out condoms and promoting a condom company, so you ought to be happy about that!
4. Having sex before marriage does not prohibit one from getting married. It only means they currently aren't.

CONS of GETTING MARRIED:
1. Majority of marriages end in divorce, and people are prone to depressive episodes and even suicidality during major negative life changes such as divorce and financial setbacks.
2. You often lose half or more than half or your finances and assets during a divorce, and men frequently experience diminished or lost custody/ visitation rights over children.
3. Divorce causes issues in the children too:

Men seem very susceptible to social control via their sexual needs. I partially blame the whore of Babylon making it the business it is.

Making it dirty also suppresses basic needs and makes them erupt violently. Obviously having that need boil up once a month isn't that much of a stressor, which could also explains the stark contrast between the genders in sexual violence stats.

Sex is the only basic need we need each other to satisfy.

Exactly. Sex is a basic human drive, and it makes people less neurotic when they're getting it.
We have an epidemic of neurotic people shooting up schools.
Let's not try to demonize sex and make them even more neurotic than they are.
Besides, the abstinence based philosophy is considered extremist religious dogma to most, so if you're trying to bring them to you're religion by saying they can't get a snogging,
then you're only pushing them away from religion at this point.

Even the priests molest altar boys when they aren't getting any. We all know it now.
That was a clear enough sign to most of us that abstinence doesn't work.
The Islamic world preaches abstinence before marriage too, and makes women cover up their faces,
and look how that turns out.

Neurotic violent behavior, rape, sexism against women, and beheadings.
The debate about sex positivity was already won in 1998, but some still wish to cling to it.

I don't consider a workshop on porn, anal 101, and sex toys to be 'sex education'. It's just filth. Sex education would be ... 'here's a vagina, here's a penis, put them together and you get a baby' kind of thing.
