Who Likes Real Music?

Here at BTS and all over Britain, there seem to be alot of people that like all that rubbish that they play at Gladstonbury. All that rubbish that is keeping the good music out of the charts. (Dont take offence and cause an argument if ur one of the people who like this, its just my opinion)

How many of you like Dance and Hard Dance?

Dj's such as Eddie Halliwell (who was amazing last Friday) and Lisa Lashes?
Is anyone planning on going to a decent event such as Godskitchen Global Gathering (My tickets are booked) or creamfields to listen to some real music and jump about like an idiot for days on end?

Suppose if anyone replies to this you can let me know ur favorite DJ, club etc...

so "real" music is dance music only? is that what i am to take from your topic? A form of music that has no players? no instruments? Im not a fan of everything on the charts, dont get me wrong....but to say only one genre of music is the only "real" music is rediculous....

I agree. To me, real music involves real instruments, and real people playing them.

Two turntables and a microphone can be real instruments.

ive always thought classical music was "real" music. As for trance and dance, they are more "fake" to me. ( Dont get me wrong I LOVEEEEE trance and happy hardcore dance pop all them goodies out there)

They call that dancing, but that's more like somebody having a seizure.

Put in some slow, soothing tunes. Wrap your arms around your girl's waste with hands permanently stationed on her butt while she wraps her arms around you and puts her head on your shoulder. Slow dancing brother, it's the only real dancing.

Chicks don't dig guys having seizures on the dance floor. They may act like they do, but they're really laughing inside because the guy looks foolish.

That's just my opinion.

The music you mention is not what I'm into, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it real music due to my dislike of it.

So was a consensus ever reached on what 'real' music is?

Or what 'dance' music is for that matter. If you can dance to it, then isn't it dance music?

Real music? Anything with instruments. What's an instrument? Anything that makes sound! So a turntable counts. Standing there and cussing to a beat doesn't, IE Rap is not music.

I love techno, trance, rock, classic(both classic rock and classic like Mozart) basically anything but rap, country(talking about having sex with your sister while the dog watches is not music)

Man, love Fat Boy Slim, or Taii Jakku, love that music, although they use instruments.(Taii Jakku, IDK about FBS)
