Members of Hamas were able leave Gaza by using underground tunnels and overwhelming Israeli forces at the border.

How do those tactics help the average citizen of Gaza? If they attempted to cross the border by using Hamas' tunnels or through force they would be killed as a member of Hamas.

So, once again, how does the average citizen of Gaza leave an area that is being turned into a killbox?
