The PLO is far worse, they hijack airplanes and have killed international sportsmen that have nothing do with Israel. The PLO is far worse, so for average Palestinian citizen, they chose the lesser of the two evils as both organizations are illegally armed groups. There is no democracy in Palestine. Israel is the only democracy in the middle east.

It's true that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East.

But I don't think there has been an election in Gaza since 2007. Hamas is governing with a coup d'etat

That's not accurate. Hamas' armed wing would be the Izz el-Deen al-Qassam Brigades, who released two US hostages recently.

Izz el-Deen al-Qassam is an illegal group. They don't have a license to have armed group. They enforce themselves on public due current situation.

Everything needs to be known about Hamas. And Hezbollah. And everything else Iran funds. And how deep their hatred and want to destroy Israel is, and why this is important that Israel gets to defend itself with whatever force it deems fit.

I am pleased to see all opinions are still allowed, albeit a bit quirky right now. Also good to see opinions shifting towards favor of Israel with the sock posting. While I don't care if people call Israel war criminals, it's encouraging to know you can still counter that opinion where it exists.

Israelis haven't been called war criminals.
What IDF has done i.e bombing and killing thousands of innocent civilians is a war crime according to a number of sources. Lawyers have spoken out, some politicians, and there are many others who share the same view.

As I said many times, war crimes have been answered with war crimes. There is no much debate on what has happened. It looks that over 5,000 people have lost their lives in the last two weeks on both sides. (mostly civilians)

I don't think public opinion here in the US or in the West is shifting towards Israel bombing and killing even more civilians so to eliminate Hamas. The opposite I would say.

And if we consider the topic of this thread perhaps the President of Israel represents part of the Israeli perception that no Palestinian could be trusted and nobody is innocent.

This is like a never ending "Whack a Mole". Strike down Mujahideen and the Taliban pops up, whack them back, and Al-Qaeda pops up, whack them back and ISIS pops up! Today, it's HAMAS, tomorrow, it will be Hezbollah.

That is going to be a popular opinion. May not be at the ICC yet, but the insinuation is Israel has committed war crimes.

Well, we invaded Iraq for chemical weapons trucks that may have been made up. United States, Australia, Denmark, Netherlands, Poland, and Great Britain are responsible for 350,000 civilian casualties. I don't think Israel has killed that many people in their entire history of war since 1949. Maybe though.

I think everyone laughed at the ICC over that.

In Afghanistan, we invaded to avenge 9/11 and killed 70,000

 NATO, Finland, Denmark, United States, United Kingdom, France, Australia, Canada, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Italy, Georgia, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Czech Republic, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ukraine, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and The United Arab Emirates are as well. As they all took part in our 10 fold war of retaliation.

I have a very clear moral stance on the whole Israel vs. Hamas thing - Hamas are a Satanic death cult dressed up in the givverish of Mohammed who cribbed from the Jews & Christians, mixing things up with a deceiving 'angel of light', aka Lucifer, pretending to be Gabriel. Not hard to compute. There are of course innocent Gazans, but they are all steeped in a religion which was designed solely to decimate the churches of the new covenant in Africa & the Middle East, heck they tried to grab Europe too but thankfully the French stood in the breach. The death cult wants everyone in submission, or else death.
