New York Post - Biden To Visit Israel Wednesday

President Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday to “reaffirm the United States’ solidarity” with the Jewish nation — more than a week after Hamas terrorists slaughtered over 1,400 people, including at least 30 Americans, and took dozens of hostages to the Gaza Strip.

Biden’s expected trip was announced Monday night by Secretary of State Antony Blinken after the top US diplomat met for nearly eight hours with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“On Wednesday, President Biden will visit Israel,” Blinken said during a short press briefing. “He’s coming here at a critical moment for Israel, for the region and for the world.”

The 80-year-old president’s visit will come as the Israeli military prepares to invade Gaza to clear out Hamas.

Biden’s trip will serve multiple purposes — first and foremost, “the president will reaffirm the United States’ solidarity with Israel and our ironclad commitment to its security,” Blinken said.

Sounds like a book I read a long time ago. A rich woman had two children, a boy and a girl. They were always fighting and getting into trouble. One day they were kidnapped. The woman got a phone call demanding one million dollars in ransom. She told the kidnappers that she wouldn't pay it. The next day she got a call from the kidnappers who said "Five hundred thousand dollars." Again she refused to pay. The following day the kidnappers wanted two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and she again refused. Two days later the kidnappers called and said twenty-five thousand dollars. The woman said "I am not paying any amount of ransom." The kidnapper said "This isn't a ransom. We'll pay you twenty-five thousand dollars if you come and get these brats!"

Who says that we should take Joe back if Hamas wants to give him to us?

The TV talking head pundits are all saying they don't think this is a good idea.
At least the ones I've heard switching through the stations.
BAD BAD idea. It's a very active war zone. He's getting in the way.

Maybe that's the plan? A dead president kind of ends any argument against entering into a war.

Joe Biden was literally in the air, flying toward the region when Jordan’s King Abdullah cancelled the summit between Egyptian President al-Sisi, Abdullah and Biden.

Now tell me again, why Joe Biden is going to Israel? What strategic value is within this visit?

Yesterday I provided some of my own thoughts on the motives. “The people behind Joe Biden are sending him to Israel for (1) part of a rebranding effort; and (2) to impede Netanyahu and buy time for Hamas.”

Today, Caroline Glick gives some troubling information about: (a) the White House demanding an invitation; and (b) Anthony Blinken threatening Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to hold back the ground invasion or the U.S. will not allow munitions and bombs Israel needs for resupply.

Biden previously said his trip was “to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas’s brutal terrorist attack and to consult on next steps.”

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, Biden was greeted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.

As Biden stepped off of Air Force One, Netanyahu pulled the commander-in-chief into a tight embrace.
