As much as I despise a 50 year politician who happens to be part time occupying the White House, the office of the presidency should not be a part of anything that would harm the United States (yes I know how hypocritical this sounds).

Thats the point any positive he gets from visiting Israel is at least partially negated as it will enflame the progressive wing. Thats even before he potentially does or says something incredibly insensitive or outright ignorant or stupid.


Thought I read somewhere the progressive wing accounts for 10 to 15 % of the Democrats' voter base, but they won't quit voting Democrat regardless and unless they find a replacement candidate they will vote Biden regardless in the hopes the a Kamala Harris Presidency is around the corner.

To the OP:

No, he absolutely should not go over there.

If anything happened to him… complete bedlam.

It would be a poop show of epic, epic proportions. The civil unrest would be insane. In the US alone, you’d have people dancing in the streets celebrating whatever terrorists got him - we’re at that point right now.

Biden has done a lot in his term - particularly related to NATO - that history will view fondly. He’s also done a whole lot that will be looked at as over-played, mis-judged, and dishonest.

Love him or not, that man must remain as well as possible and functioning through the next election. Anything that happens to him will be horrible for everyone.

He should not go into an active war zone - particularly one where the rules of engagement might be a little more flexible.

Despite the loss of life, evaporation of resources and political posturing, Russia has done what I asserted they would since the beginning.

The land bridge to Crimea.

Yet, mixing with funding and aid of all these countries looks like battle lines being drawn as there has been little to no descalation or offramps for any hostile activity.

I think it is IRAN's money to begin with, isn't it? I've never agreed with the U.S. "bullying" another country, by seizing or freezing that country's $$$.
