So how upset would you be if an invading number of people came in and kicked your ancestors off of their land and then treated you very badly? And what is worse, is that the promises that were broken and the bad faith negotiations, the constant pushing and treated like a second class citizen in a country that you are just as entitled to be. I agree with some, but you also need to understand the situation back then too. We both agree that the Brits and French created much of what we see today as they divided up the prior lands of the Ottoman Empire which lasted for 600 years. We could call everything from northern Eqypt, to everything between the sea and a big chunk of upper Saudi, then up through Iraq and into Turkey as Palestinian. The problem is all the people were nomads who traveled all over the area. Due to this, the Brits and French had a hard time trying to find forms of leadership to create the nations that they made. For example, northern Iraq was to be a country for the Kurds but they could not find a dominant leadership to put in place.

The Brits also wanted to create land for the Palistains and they saw both Muslim and Jewish Palestine as people of the area. Transjordan was Muslim Palestine and the area where Isreal is now ended up being for the Jewish Palestine. Israel is very small and has no oil or natural resources, so they got kind of the short stick as all these other countries gained huge wealth in Oil and Gas. After about 4+ wars that they won Israel earned its right to establish the borders that left all the other countries around them alone as they could have been much bigger if they wanted to expand.

What we see with Gaza and the West Bank were Jordan and Egypy throwaways that they put there as undesirables. To suggest the land there is theirs by ancestral rights is laughable since they were all nomads covering a vast area, but for some reason, the small areas of Gaza and West Bank just now happen to be their ancient lands... OK..

But it is a problem not going away, and giving them their own small country fixes nothing and most likely exacerbates the situation even more if other countries do not come forward to help fix the problem.

Her words are heartfelt and exactly what some people need to hear .

Her words are also Naive and filled with the shock of what happened to her though of course she will only realize that 10 years from now.

But the most important part is this She survived yes , But given half the chance Hamas would parade her in front of Cameras and Sever Her Head off and that is the True reality that no amount of Naive Teenage words can hide.

I was out of touch when I was 19 but I still know where that person is coming from... But unfortunately, a side must be picked... unfortunately.

Sometimes people post as if Israel would be bombing the hell out of GAZA right now even if the Hamas attack didn't happen.

I can agree on proportionality issues

but the immediate cause WAS the Hamas Attack and thier leaders had to know it would cause a brutal response from Israel.

They attacked anyway and only 2 reasons rationalize this

either they thought this would lead to a massive Arab uprising

or their bank accounts are getting low and want to tap into the influx of money and aid this attack will bring

I say both .

But they will be left with a bitter taste in their mouths because the Arab world does not give a sh*t about Palestinians . Sure they might march and call for Jihad but the truth is they will not lift a finger for them .

It's the Radical corrupt leaders at the core of Palestinian society that are the main issue but of course they are blind to this.

She doesn’t say how to make peace because you can’t make peace with them. The proof of that is decades of attempted and failed diplomacy that got us here.

Are there solutions? Well, sure, but it’s real hard to “negotiate” when the other side isn’t looking for unity, they’re looking for your removal and extinction.

The sad reality is, listening to someone like this lady will only result in more dead Israelis.

All of that said, I agree, I’d far prefer a peaceful solution where Gaza/Israel stop fighting and let each territory go forth independently and peacefully toward their goals.

But, I’d prefer a lot of things. Instead, peace will get created the hard way.

The left has done a nice job creating her. Maybe she’ll also find a guy who abuses her and she’ll always tell everybody to shut up, because it’s not his fault and he can’t help it. Until that day that she can’t say anything anymore.

I agree - family members of mine had to brave up to make it through the WWII Siberian work / death camps. They were Polish Roman Catholic, everybody suffered through that war for years.
Who came to save them? No one. They did what they had to do, no whimpering on social media, and made it through all the battles across Europe to fight for freedom for you and me.
Apparently that has all been forgotten.

This young girl is not weeping, she has been through a lot and is scared for those who have not found a safe place like she has, she sounds like she feels guilty for being safe.

Intent, you can argue that you only behead a baby when you intend to, you can blow up a baby without actually meaning to just by being a bit useless or failing to care

I think the bigger issue is driving a naked dead girl in the back of a pickup up and down streets so the civilians can cheer and spit on her.

If there are babies at military locations that Israel targets who is responsible for that? Hey Joe, go get some women and babies and have them live here with our military ammo.
