Rep. Jamaal Bowman, the dude who pulled the fire alarm last week, is calling for the United States to take in Palestinian refugees. (Why hasn't the been prosecuted for that yet?!). My response ... HELL NO. They are all steeped in hate of nonmuslims and full of Hamas indoctrination. We already have too many people coming across the border to take care of, we don't need more. The suggestion is that since Iran backed this war, then Iran should take them. I agree.

Progressives call for USA To Take Refugees From Gaza

Experts predict a million refugees might flee the Gaza Strip amid the war between Israel and Hamas, and socialists and far-left lawmakers said America should welcome them.

“Fifty percent of the population in Gaza are children. The international community as well as the United States should be prepared to welcome refugees from Palestine while being very careful to vet and not allow members of Hamas,” said Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a New York member of the Socialist-Democratic “Squad” who remains under investigation for pulling a fire alarm in the House Cannon Office Building earlier this month.

But Republicans have already slammed the door shut on the issue.

Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said they would oppose Palestinian resettlement efforts here.

“The U.S. is the most generous nation in the world, but we are in no position to accept additional refugees, especially from a region with as high a risk of terrorism, given our nation’s inability to secure our own border or vet those who are already here,” Rubio told The Post.

Cotton said “Iran should take responsibility for any Palestinian refugees caused by its proxy . . . war with Israel. Iran is responsible for the death and destruction — it should be responsible for refugees as well.”

The White House repeatedly refused to say whether it would be open to accepting refugees from the conflict.

Palestinians, huh? The ones who are miffed about us giving part of their land to the Jewish people after WW2, and seem to have an axe to grind about it, and are willing to blow up elementary schools and hospitals? Hard no from me.

I'll never stop being miffed that USA getting involved in the middle east again is ever even discussed.
Just stay TF out of the middle east. Period.
I don't care if Jesus himself begs for bandaids and Gatorade.
After Iraq it should have been codified into immutable law that we'd need a valid declaration of war to ever get involved over there again including sending aid. Jihadists are totally against any american influence anyway. Plus we're broke, and there's that.
It's all about oil. Can we all be up front about that yet?
The elites want Iran's oil so they can cut Russia off at the knees.

For the first time in history I'm agreeing with Senator Rubio.
Big fat NO.

US getting involved in ANY WAY only increases the odds of WW3.
If we stay out, we might be able to limp along for another year or so, maybe.
But knowing my country as I do: the politicians will probably get us HEAVILY involved, because half of them own Lockheed and Exxon stock.
From what I'm gathering, it seems like the average dumb american seems to want to get involved, so support won't be that hard to drum up.
We'll have our own troops in the region before long, and billions more dollars burning in the money hole.

Meanwhile, it's gonna provoke action from Russia and China.
These rich pricks just don't know when to quit.

Correct.

No more refugees. We’re at capacity.

Also, I’d like to call out the irony that this moron politician is saying this while simultaneously our admin figured out we need a border wall.

SMH.

I think Israel and Palestine are opposite sides of the same coin.

I believe Israel made the slow crawl land grab, and just took the last few acres. Israel was supported and financed in this move by America.

Inviting those that feel wronged by our actions is not a wise move. We already have enough America haters within our borders, and we will see the results of that soon enough.

Israel supposedly has a God that will protect them. Not sure what America is banking on.

Sure, bring Hamas to the US.

What could go wrong?

I'm sure the vetting process would involve a pinky swear not to kill children and rape women.

Listen to the lyrics...

Hell, I'd rather send them Ukraine money if it was going to be used to rebuild and resettle elsewhere.

It wouldn't be though, it never is

Progressives call for USA To Take Refugees Fro

that is the most dumb ass stupidest thing i've heard.

it's not like we ain't got our own problems to deal with. if they do that, then we'll be shelling and launching air strikes in gaza new york, gaza's up and down the west coast and gaza chicago followed by ground offensives. plus lots of places have ready made tunnels for the rat bastard jihadi's to hide in

there's almost as many jews in the U.S. as there is in Israel, and way more Christians, talk about sh@@ storm.

Not sure what America is banking on.

The plan is and had been to bankrupt America morally, physically and financially. It just kicked into high gear at the start of Obama's 3rd term and people are finally starting to connect the dots, except for the MSM zombies. Their brains were eaten to the last morsel on November 3, 2020 when they cast their ballots.

This post is not aimed at you. I'm just using part of your comment as the starting point.

“If Israel is occupying Palestinian land, can you please explain the basis in international law for Palestinian ownership of this land?” They all likely assume that there was a previous Palestinian state that the Israelis occupied and destroyed, but in reality, there has never been a Palestinian state of any kind, ever, at any point in history. There has been a region known as “Palestine” since 134AD, when the Romans applied that name to the land that had previously been known as Judea, that is, land of the Jews. But “Palestine” was akin to “Staten Island” — it was only the name of a region, never of a people or a nation.

More in the article if anyone is interested. Source

ETA: That land was set aside by the league of nations in for Jewish settlement when the Ottoman empire was on the verge of collapse.

My response...
Even the women and children?

You are suggesting every person in Gaza is a terrorist. Do you even know where HAMAS came from? How it started? Who funded it? I suspect not...

I suggest you educate yourself pronto before you make the grave mistake of advocating for one of the largest genocides in the 20-21st century.

That’s right.

As a taxpayer, I am tired of my money going to illegals and refugees.

So leave the poor orphan children to their grim fates? I suppose donating to the Red Cross to help them is a hard 'no' too?

Do a little research. Palestine didn't EXIST until the late 1950's. It is an artificial construct. This whole conflict was invented by and supported by the Soviet Union to allow them to threaten the Suez Canal. That's why the USSR tried to gain a presence in Egypt.

Also a hard "NO" because those children belong to parents who praise death.

Feel free to donate your entire life savings, I don’t care.
I choose not to and that is my right.
