You've been around long enough that you should know just because someone is "new" doesn't mean they haven't been here long. Lots of people ghost this site for years before actually making and account and starting to post, so looking at someone's join date isn't a great way to mind blip what they know or don't know about what goes on here.

What does that have to do with my observations of plenty of OPs old threads don’t have nuked comments?

New guy (possibly long time caller) said with conviction OP ran to mods. Get real, the site is stricter and mods go through threads and clean up.

But yea, I’ll give new guy the benefit of the doubt over my years of memory and experience.

Yet you’re using no logic, and hinging your premise on “maybe the guy I pointed out has been secretly around since forever, and all of my experience is null and void”

Excellent point. I should have thrown out everything I knew because this guy might have possibly been around longer, and he should be able to accuse people of “crying to mods”. Me forming arguments on how that doesn’t trend is “f###ing highschoolish”

I didn’t pull rank on someone and tell them to shut up.

I said I’ve been here a while and seen plenty of threads by OP where comments weren’t nuked, which is verifiable. I sited that the site is more strict now, and I did all of this because the person you’re defending with hypotheticals made a baseless accusation.

You and the other member are calling people names and making accusations. All while calling other people childish, if you can’t see the irony than I don’t know what to tell you.

And no, I won’t report you to the mods because I don’t get upset about internet conversations. But you all go on declaring perceived realities as facts without anything to base it on. Nothing new.

OP has been around much longer than you. Back in the day this site used to be a little bit more cowboyish, they’ve been tightening up on that. I’ve read many of OP’s threads that had some mud, and the comments remained. If you had been here longer, you’d know that and wouldn’t be proclaiming your suspicions as facts. Funny so many recently just have something pop in their heads and spread their mind blips as truths.

Not surprising they have grown complacent before and paid a dear price, this time that price was almost exclusively born by the innocent.

Thats whats different this time, kidnap, rape, torture and murder of innocents, Hamas screwed up big time with the way they pulled this operation.

Definitely, if they had just targeted the police and the military once it responded, they could have kept it marginally within the realm of all is fair in love and war. Even then it's not the capture and hostage-taking, it's the barbaric depravity needed to kill innocent persons women, and children up close and personal and wallow in ecstasy over thier dead bodies.

You can't negotiate with that mentality, at least not yet.

Egypt did not ever warn Israel of a major attack from Gaza in the days leading up to the current war with Hamas, an Egyptian official told the newspaper Al-Shuruk on Wednesday.

This is despite previous reports, which claimed officials in Cairo had warned senior Israeli officials in advance.

It is really not that hard to see that nearly all of
Israels neighbors are in "get ya" mode.

That definitely adds some curious complexity to the alleged story.

On one hand it’s Egypt saying they didn’t give intel (either never having it or sitting on it), on one hand they may be walking back the claim to help Israel save face 🤔

Or the story was fog of war all along.

Well...since there was not much to the story
that they supposedly did, there is not much
to walk back. Which makes it convenient for
them. Not so convenient for Israel though.

Its two slaps instead of just one.

Egypt does have a vested stake in trying
to point fingers in a different direction,
as they basically do nothing to help the
downtrodden Palestinians in Gaza.

Yea, if he thwarted them and they showed all the rockets and caught people at the border they’d still have a justified war footing, and he’d still look like a powerful leader.

It’s too soon for me to draw any conclusions on what’s going on.

As is war, there’s always going to be fog, confusion, conflicting information… it’s going to take time to put the puzzle together. Unfortunately by that time there’s going to be a lot of blood.

10 days ago? That was about 1 week after his reporting on building his corridor for peace and prosperity through the Middle East, right into Europe.

So he took advantage of perfect crisis to get the corridor started, or he made it happen.

I don't trust Netanyahu as far as I could throw him.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

Like most stuff you say that isn't true , you could try asking the MOD why your post was removed rather than making unfounded allegations.
