Benjamin Netanyahu Ignored Warnings from Egypt about a Potential Incoming Attack from Hamas.

For those suspicious about how Israel missed an operation of this size against their country The Times of Israel and Haaretz are reporting that Israel and more specifically Benjamin Netanyahu was personally warned 10 days before the attack by Egypt's Intelligence Minister , General Abbas Kamel , that a terrible operation , something unusual was coming from Gaza , reportedly Netanyahu was more focused on the West Bank and the troubles there.

Egyptian–Israeli security cooperation is an ongoing thing , has been for about 10 years so yes if Egypt warned of a large scale attack by Hamas Israel should have paid notice.

Or it could be that he took the opportunity Hamas offered to him to deal with the Palestinians once and for all shielded from criticism by the scale of the attack , as "Peeple" pointed out he now has a Unity government.
