Turkey's deputy education minister Nazif Yilmaz wrote that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "will die."
"One day they will shoot you too," Yilmaz wrote in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, in response to a video Netanyahu posted showing Israeli Air Force strikes on Gaza.
"You will die," Yilmaz wrote.

Events like this have a habit of revealing the turkish regimes islamist nature.
They should be kicked outta NATO until they get a government who is aligned with the values of the western world.
No islamists in NATO thank you.

It will take 6 months to bury the dead.

Some very unfortunate comment here by Turkey's Deputy Education Minister. You certainly don't make such comments (if this information is correct)...
I don't know whether this has been taken out of context

So, you didn't even do the bare minimum to go and see the tweets for yourself to be sure of what you were reporting on?
Nazif Yılmaz, Deputy Minister of National Education of Türkiye, responded to a tweet by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by warning, "You will die."
In a tweet, Netanyahu shared a video of the IDF attacking Hamas targets in Gaza, captioning it, "We are continuing with all our might."
Responding to this, Yilmaz wrote, "One day, they will fire at you, too. You will die."

Turkey is party of NATO because of geopolitical and strategic reasons and not because we have sympathy for their regimes or way of life. Although most Turkish and Kurdish people I ve met are much more open to the Western way of life. At least this is my impression.

all ministers speak for their administrations. So if one goes off message so badly, the defense minister or prime minister needs to clarify.

Isn't it amazing that all throughout history how many wars have been fought in the name of God? And it would have to be a very vain diety indeed to sit back and accept that kind of exaltation as so much blood flows freely!
In the Middle East -where wars occur on an average of every seven years- it's never been about a miserable little strip of desert, but about doctrines and I find it interesting that the only religions that go at it fang-and-claw with such insane zeal are the Hebrews, Muslims and Christians. Meanwhile, in comparison the Hindu, Buddhist, Shinto and Taoist nations manage to coexist pretty peacefully. It's also compelling that the biggest difference between them all would be that the religious warriors worship only one God, while the peaceful "pagans" have many. Perhaps that's why Polytheism flourished so well for 3,000 years before Christianity came along and reduced that panoply of multiple Creators down to a singular one.
For my money it's waaaay past time to bring back Mount Olympus! reply to: Muldar
