Christians believe in a loving God .. not an Angry God or a Jealous God or a Resentful God or a Punishing God.

That hell, death, the Devil, the false prophet, and the wild beast, as well as everyone else who are wicked are thrown into the lake of fire that represents the second death means that they receive everlasting destruction. That is what fire represents. Not that a person will live on forever in literal torment in the fire. But that the fire is symbolic of their complete everlasting destruction.

Could it be that the "Lake of Fire" is just a continuation of "Hell" where the fire "never shall be quenched" or the "worm dieth not"?

Fire represents destruction. After hell gives up those dead in it and it is empty it is then thrown into the lake of fire, that is hell is done away with. It is destroyed forever. That means that humankind will live forever. Hell will no longer exist. While in this life everyone who has ever lived dies. After that time, no one will die ever again.

I don't think you realize that your generalization that "humankind will live forever" after death and hell are destroyed is only confirming a permanent existence in the Lake of Fire instead for those who's names were not written in the Book of Life.

If Jesus came to you and revealed that his words had been missinterpreted .. would you call him a lier because that's not what it says in the Bible?.

You and many of my fellow Christians refuse to see the obvious. Old Testament and New Testament are two completely different phylosophies and it is incongruous that both those books have been bought together and presented as one book of God.

The very fact that the Old Testament is included, is a clue to the deceptions that has occurred over the centuries and exposes the vested interests that are responsible for the deception.

The Catholic Church has been controlled by evil people for thousands of years. Behaving like terrorists burning and destroying anyone or anything that they considered heretic. The Catholic Church has a history of violent behaviour and rampant sexual abuse of children and many of the early popes displayed a barbaric level of evil that should never be associated with Jesus.

The only reason the OT and the NT are useful together is in terms of understanding the contrast they present between the old world understanding of esoteric truths and the revelation that our true God is a loving gentle God .. Jesus fought against the priests who refused to accept his word and so they had him executed.

The bible talks of miracles and yet the book of Thomas describes our abilities to create our own realities we truly can move mountains but we have not yet done so. Jesus was able to do magic and he told us that we also can do these things.

The Roman church had just one purpose .. to take control over the narrative and hide as much of what Jesus tried to teach us .. the Book of Thomas describes the words Jesus used to explain our divine nature and the power we have all inherited. That is truly the gift of God, and those who attempt to diminish our understanding of our power are actively working against God and his children.

I have no concern at all about how you judge me or my beliefs, In my view, you are sadly missing the whole point of the Christian message. Jesus was born, not just in the image of man but literally as a flesh and blood human being, born to Mary the sinner (according to OT). His purpose was to show that a man with Christ consciousness is equally powerful in manipulating this dense physical reality as he could, and all that is required is strength of intent and will.

The whole 'original sin' part of the bible is the key to the deception, Mary was born in sin, as are we all. This alone would make a thinking person question the Old Testament. What do you think Jesus is going to do when He returns?! He told us He would be returning with the WRATH OF GOD.

He preached love to His believers so they would stay united until His return. At the same time, He told the Israelites that He didn't come to bring peace, but a sword. He will be separating out the wheat from the chaff and placing all of God's enemies under his feet.

You might not think I sound like a "Christian", but I'm here to defend God's word, not yours. All of the deception that has crept into Christianity by unclean spirits is only broadening the path to destruction instead of salvation.
