I am about to form an S corp so when I have gigs in CA I can bill out of nevada as that's where I live. Its very annoying they dont allow 1099 or any of the niceties I typically gets as a contract worker...like OT after 10hrs and Double time after 14hrs each day. Currently I have to jump through a lot of hoops and put in much more time and effort to get my billables to actually be what they should be.

Newsom said to pick Lee would be unfair to all those running against her. That was the logic anyway. Just the messenger there.

I think the out of state move was to fulfill his promise to appoint a black woman to replace Kamala and not be unfair. Lee may win it in 2024 anyway, has to beat Schiff.

The New California Senator will be one of either:

Black Lesbian Senator Aphonza Butler
Senator Barbara Lee
Senator Adam Schiff

All the country can really do is continue to complain when exactly what they'd expect to happen, does, and care more about our politics than we do.

Should be fine, the only qualifications required for the position is black, gay, female. Experience, good judgement and high intelligence is overrated and racist to boot. Granted I admit I know nothing about this person but obviously has the primary qualifications, also to include breathing or Mrs. Feinstein would still have the position.

Adam Schiff wouldn't DARE run against a Black Progressive Lesbian who is a member of the OBAMA/OPRAH cabal!

Not only does she check all the progressive boxes needed to keep the various subsets of coalitions together, black, lesbian, abortion specialist etc; but Laphonza Butler also comes from the ideological stable and network of Barack Obama/Oprah Winfrey and was a former advisor to Kamala Harris. The fact that Butler lives as a registered voter in Maryland was a trifle issue of no consequence, all things considered.

The announcement before Dianne Feinstein is even buried is simply a reflection of how the Obama network views people as disposable once their usefulness is exhausted. The media need to play up the “narrow margin, votes are needed” angle in order to pretend the impropriety is unavoidable.
