If people paid any attention, we found out how many govt positions are non-essential. Those were the folks given free vacations.

I worked in expanded office areas on a base. Sometimes it was a real hike to get from one place to one meeting, then another place to another. A fire alarm in any of the complex would be cause for evacuation of the entire complex. Distrupting work going on everywhere, not just the immediate vacinity.

So, What is your point or just trying to defend the indefensible, again?

House censures Rep. Jamaal Bowman for falsely pulling fire alarm

The House voted Thursday to censure Democrat Rep. Jamaal Bowman of New York for falsely pulling a fire alarm in a House office building in September.

The final vote was 214-191 with five members voting present. Three Democrats voted with Republicans to censure Bowman.

After the vote, Bowman stood in the well of the House surrounded by a large group of Democrats who hugged him in support.
