Ideologies have roots.

Neo-Nazism is what we have today, and what we have to contend with, which is kind of the point i was making.

Any of the original Nazis left doing the rounds must be near enough 100 years old.

As to learning the lessons, the fact of the matter is that people are not very good at doing that from one generation to the next.

And i tend to agree we have yet to let it sink in as to what we are capable of when at our worst.

By starting that line with "German here" I was informing the reader that I have historical connection to the biggest NAZI nest in the last century and find the post untasteful.

Because it is a stern topic for Germans as we are educated about it in school much better than anyone else in the world is. This is why it feels important to me to point out what I pointed out.

It's not guilt, it's intolerance to misusing the term in a loose manner. "You are nazi, you are nazi and hey, you are nazi too!" This blurs the line to the heinous crimes.

Furthermore, I don't think "most of the rest of the world" thinks the US is controlled by great evil. Hate to break it to you but the American government is the world's largest terrorist organization, and more than half the planet agrees. We got a great country but we got the worst government and leaders one could ask for. Our foreign policy alone kills thousands of civilians yearly.

The reason so many people are trying to immigrate here is not because we got it so good, it's because our government stole their natural resources/wealth and destroyed their nations via sanctions and war. If America is so great why do we rank 60th on infant mortality? Ethiopia ranks higher last I checked...

If America is so great why do they continue to increase the retirement age? China has been lowering their retirement age...

If America was so great why does my Dollar buy less yearly? Throughout my entire life wages have stagnated and the dollar has less purchasing every year. That's not the sign of a great nation.

We have a failing empire and people like yourself pretend like we aren't 1 bad policy away from becoming a 3rd world country. It's this elitists mentality that lead us here, and when I see this sort worshiping at the alter of the state I fear some people will never realize we've actually become the bad guys...

Our lives would be demonstrably better of our government wasn't sanctioning half the planet and participating in 7 different conflicts around the globe.

My problem is that Nazism is just one example of dangerous ideology and it can take root anywhere, in any country in any race of people.
It has everything to do with guilt and shame. Or you would have no need to bring up that you’re German which is sad after all this time has passed. Are we to be judged or constantly reminded of what generations long before us were responsible for?

What happened then has nothing to do with modern day Germans obviously but in fact I would go further and say that the majority of Germans at that time weren’t racist evil maniacs, the few that were though managed to wrestle power and woe onto any German who spoke out against them, that’s what happened in the past and if don’t understand how and why it can just as easily happen again.

We see many people today doing their bidding… for instance these people conducting witch hunts and running the indictments of their biggest enemy… the one who believes in the people.
We do see a lot of “fascism” today though, including the use of the corporate world combined with a totalitarian State. They have evolved it though. Rosa Koire called it “communitarianism” in her book, “Behind the Green Mask”, and also mentions NGOs and “public-private partnerships”. All the climate change rigmarole and the Green New Deal is part of UN Agenda 21 run by the elite Club of Rome(gates Gore and many others)
People can call it whatever name they like…. It’s all coming from the same putrid place and controlled by the power elites who are the International bankers. All this stuff going on … the Antifa ( also communist) are the activists in armies of willing tools all these activist judges and so on, willing tools, all a kind of sleight of hand on behalf of the big players and power brokers the Bilderbergs etc the banking cabal who are currently taking down the American currency, while they rake in the trillions off the backs of American citizens and massive numbers of illegals pouring over the border. They are working on a cbdc to replace the many currencies so they have even more control at the level of “biblical” proportions.

I haven't claimed that, my point is you bringing up that you are German is irrelevant, which you yourself have confirmed by agreeing you don't have to be German to be a nazi and that it is an ideology. I asked you why you brought it up and you told me to read a history book, as if I haven't. This isn't about you, are you claiming Germans haven't felt guilt or shame about the nazis?

I disagree entirely, being born German doesn't give you a connection to the nazis, historical or otherwise, you can't have a historical connection to an ideology, which is not limited to a particular place.
