62% of Democrats in this poll said they want someone else to be nominated and not Biden. It speaks for itself.

That's true, but they didn't say they wouldn't vote for him if he is the candidate.

I think there'e a fair number of Republicans who don't want Trump to be the candidate either, but they will still vote for him if he is. Governor Kemp of Georgia, for example.

That's not true as the poll revealed Trump is ahead in the race with 10 percentage points.

I very much remember the right saying polls don't matter.
Did that change or does it only matter when your selected individual is the one that has good numbers?

Did the ABC Sunday Morning show mention this ABC/WaPo poll result? This has to make all Democrats seriously look for an alternative to Joe Biden.

Even if Donald Trump dropped out of the race, most Republican candidates would beat Joe Biden. He has too much baggage. I'll start a thread on that subject this week.

Yep, this is a huge concern and definitely now is the time to call your state senators and local representatives and any voting-related issues

there have been a few changes since 2022 in a handful of states, quoted below is a breakdown from Ballotpedia.

FWIW only 4 were from what I'd considered battleground states, for those interested I'd check what your state's election laws are. I am woefully ignorant of my state's voting laws and all areas below should be looked at again for those interested Ballotpedia will send an email about your state's changes.

Both sides will try and legislate voting rights to their advantage but the only way they are successful is when the opposition is ignorant and apathetic. I have no doubt in my state the left influenced state legislators significantly more than the right has since 2016. The main point is if this bothers people we need to be proactive NOW call, email, and text your State officials if there is something in the regulations that bothers you. It's the only way an individual can effect change.

I am not saying you should trust the polls but when a poll doesn't go the way the establishment wants then it shows clearly in the way the story has been reported. I don't have much doubt that a rematch between Trump and Biden will end with a win for Trump. I mean deeply down everyone knows it, including the democrats. Biden is unfit for various reasons and shouldn't be elected.

These are cheap excuses.
The establishment doesn't like at all the latest polls and is trying hard to justify why Trump is ahead. I remember some years ago when Hillary Clinton was the winner of the elections long before the elections took place. There was no way Trump could ever win and get elected.

I mean this poll hasn't gone very well with the establishment and they try (just like you do here) to justify it as an 'outlier'. Remember it was impossible for Trump to win against Hillary Clinton but reality disproved the left wing fantasies. It's likely to happen again.
